A young Brahmachari has learned many arts in many countries of the world. In one country, he learned the art of making and running bow arrows and after a few days he went on a journey to another country.
There he learned the art of making the ship because the ships were built there. Then he went to a third country and came in contact with many people who used to build houses.
Thus he went to sixteen countries and returned after earning many arts. Coming back to his house he filled the ego and asked the people – ‘Is there a virtuous person like me on this whole earth?’
People are surprised to see him Gradually, this point reached Lord Buddha. Buddha knew him. He was also familiar with his talent. He became worried that his pride would not destroy him. One day he took the form of a beggar and went in front of him for a beggar.
Brahchayari asked with great pride – who are you? Buddha said – I am the path of self-interest. If he wanted to know the meaning of his words, he said, – A slight weapon maker also makes arrows, nine drivers control the ship, the home builder also makes the house.
Nothing is going to happen only through knowledge, the real achievement is the pure mind If the mind is not pure then all knowledge is in vain. A person free of ego can find God. By hearing this, the Brahvikari realized his mistake.
