इंसान से अच्छा होता है खुदा का साथ

एक बार सूफी संत खय्याम अपने शिष्य के साथ बीहड़ से जा रहे थे। उनके नमाज पढ़ने का समय हुआ तो, गुरु और शिष्य दोनों नमाज पढ़ने के लिए बैठे ही थे कि उन्हें सामने से एक शेर की गर्जना सुनाई दी।

शिष्य बेहद परेशान हो गया और नजदीक के ही पेड़ पर चढ़ गया। लेकिन खय्याम खामोशी से नमाज पढ़ते रहे। शेर वहां आया और चुपचाप आगे निकल गया। उसके जाने के बाद शिष्य पेड़ से नीचे उतरा।

इस तरह नमाज खत्म होने के बाद वह आगे बड़े। थोड़ी देर बाद जब संत खय्याम को एक मच्छर ने काटा, तो उसे मारने के लिए उन्होंने अपने गाल पर चपत लगाई।

यह देख वह शिष्य बोला, ‘गुरुदेव अभी-अभी जब शेर आपके समीप आया था, तब आप बिल्कुल न घवराए लेकिन एक मच्छर के काटे जाने पर आपको गुस्सा आ गया।’

ख्य्याम ने उत्तर दिया कि, ‘तुम ठीक कहते हो, किंतू तुम यह भूल रहे हो जब शेर आया था, तब मैं खुदा के साथ था, जबकि मच्छर काटे जाने के समय एक इंसान के साथ यही वजह है कि मुझे शेर से डर नहीं लगा और मैं एक मच्छर से डर गया।’

In this way, after the prayers ceased, After a while, when a mosquito was bitten by Sant Khayyam, he put a sash on his cheek to kill him.

Seeing this, the disciple said, ‘Gurudev, just when the lion came near you, you did not bite at all, but you got angry when a mosquito was bitten.’

Khayyam replied that, ‘you are right, but you are forgetting this when the lion came, then I was with God, while the mosquito was cut, this is the reason why I did not fear the lion And I was scared of a mosquito. ‘
