जानिए जीतने का रहस्य

एक बार देवों और असुरों में घोर युद्ध हो रहा था। राक्षसों के शस्त्र, बल, और युद्ध कौशल के सामने देवता नहीं टिक पाए। वे हार कर जान बचाने के लिए भागे। सभी देवता महर्षि दत्तात्रेय के पास पहुंचे और उन्हें अपनी विपत्ति सुनाई।

महर्षि ने उनको धैर्य बांधते हुए कहा ‘आप सभी पुनः युद्ध की तैयारी करें, देवताओं ने फिर युद्ध किया पर इस बार भी वह हार गए। इस बार असुरों ने उनका पीछा किया। देवता दत्तात्रेय के आश्रम में पहुंचे। दैत्य भी उनका पीछा करते हुए वहां आ पहुंचे। असुरों ने उनके पास दत्तात्रेय के आश्रम में एक सुंदर कन्या को बैठे देखा। बस, वह लड़ना भूलकर उस स्त्री पर मुग्ध हो गए।

असुर उस कन्या को लेकर असुर लोक चले गए। ऋषि दत्तात्रेय ने देवताओं से कहा ‘अब आप पुनः युद्ध तैयारी करो और फिर से असुरों पर चढ़ाई करो।’ फिर से लड़ाई हुई और देवताओं ने असुरों पर विजय प्राप्त कर ली। विजय प्राप्त करके देवता फिर ऋषि दत्तात्रेय के पास  गए और पूछने लगे, ‘भगवन् दो बार पराजय व अंतिम बार विजय का क्या रहस्य है?’

महर्षि ने बताया, ‘जब तक मनुष्य संयमी बना रहता है। तब तक उसका पूर्ण बल विद्यमान रहता है। जब वह गलत रास्ते पर कदम रखता है, तो उसका आधा बल नष्ट हो जाता है। ठीक उसी तरह नारी का अपहरण करने पर उनका आधा बल नष्ट हो गया, और तुमने उन पर विजय प्राप्त कर ली।’

Once there was a fierce battle between Gods and Assurans. Gods can not stand in front of the demons’ arms, force, and war skills. They ran and ran to save lives by losing. All the gods reached Maharshi Dattatreya and narrated their disaster.

Maharishi patiently persuaded them and said, ‘You all prepare for battle again, the gods fought again, but this time they lost. This time the Asuras followed them. Devata reached the ashram of Dattatreya. The monster arrived there while chasing them. Asura saw them sitting on a beautiful girl in Dattatreya’s ashram. Just forgetting that fight, he became enchanted at that woman.

Asura Asura people went away with that girl. Rishi Dattatreya said to the Gods, ‘Now prepare the war again and then climb on the asuras.’ Again the battle took place and the gods conquered the Asuras. After getting the victory, God went to the god next to Rishi Dattatreya and started asking, ‘What is the secret of defeating God twice and for last time victory?’

Maharishi said, ‘As long as man remains steady Until then his full force remains. When he steps on the wrong path, his half force is destroyed. In the same way, after hijacking the woman, her half force was destroyed, and you conquered them.
