संत ने राजा की पूरी बात सुनी और कहा तुम्हें भी अपने छिपे हुए शत्रुओं से सामना करना चाहिए। लेकिन वार गुप्त तरीकों से करो। संत ने राजा को तीन शस्त्रों को बताए। पहला यशाशक्ति प्रजा को रोजगार उपलब्ध कराओ। ऐसा करने पर उन्हें को फर्क नहीं पढ़ेगा कि उनके यहां कौन राज कर रहा है।

दूसरा शस्त्र है सहना करना यानी सहिष्णुता। जो सहन नहीं कर सकता वो राज नहीं चला सकता। तीसरा शस्त्र है सम्मान देना। जिसको जितना सम्मान देना चाहिए। उतना ही सम्मान दो। ये मृदु शस्त्र हैं। यह शस्त्र ह्दय पर अधिक प्रभाव डालते हैं।

यदि आप इन शस्त्रों से विरोधियों से जीत लेंगे तो, जो तुम्हें पीछे से वार करते हैं वो तुम्हारे वश में हो जाएंगे।
