स्वामी विवेकानंद एक दिन कक्षा में मित्रों को कहानी सुना रहे थे। सभी इतने खोए हुए थे कि उन्हें पता ही नहीं चला कि कब मास्टरजी कक्षा में आए और पढ़ाना शुरू कर दिया। मास्टरजी को कुछ आवाज सुनाई दी। कौन बात कर रहा है?

सभी ने स्वामी जी और उनके साथ बैठे छात्रों की तरफ इशारा कर दिया। मास्टरजी ने तुरंत उन छात्रों को बुलाया और पाठ से संबंधित एक प्रश्न पूछने लगे। जब कोई उत्तर न दे सका, तो मास्टरजी ने स्वामी जी से भी वही प्रश्न किया।

उन्होंने उत्तर दे दिया। मास्टरजी को यकीन हो गया कि स्वामी जी पाठ पर ध्यान दे रहे थे और बाकी छात्र बातचीत में करने में व्यस्त थे। उन्होंने स्वामी जी को छोड़ सभी को बेंच पर खड़े होने की सजा दे दी।

सभी छात्र बेंच पर खड़े होने लगे, स्वामी जी ने भी यही किया। तब मास्टर जी स्वामी जी से बोले, तुम बैठ जाओ। नहीं सर, मुझे भी खड़ा होना होगा क्योंकि मैं ही इन छात्रों से बात कर रहा था। स्वामी जी ने कहा। सभी उनकी सच बोलने की हिम्मत देख बहुत प्रभावित हुए।

Swami Vivekananda was telling stories to friends in class one day. All were so lost that they did not know when Masterji came to class and started teaching. Masterji heard some voice. Who is talking?

Everyone pointed towards Swamiji and students sitting with them. Masterji immediately called those students and started asking a question related to the text. When no one could answer, Masterji asked the same question to Swami Ji.

They answered. Masterji was convinced that Swamiji was paying attention to the lesson and the rest of the students were busy in conversation. He punished everyone except Swami ji standing on the bench.

All the students started standing on the bench, Swami ji did the same. Then Masterji said to Swami Ji, You sit down. No sir, I must be standing because I was only talking to these students. Swami ji said. Everyone was very impressed with the courage to speak their truth.
