कर्म से बनती हैं हाथ की रेखाएं

एक बालक को उसके पिताजी ने विद्या अध्यनन के लिए गुरुकुल भेजा। बालक गुरुकुल में विद्या ग्रहण करने लगा। एक दिन गुरुजी ने बच्चे को एक पाठ याद करने के लिए दिया। परंतु बहुत कोशिशों के बाद भी उस बालकर को पाठ याद नहीं हुआ।

गुरुजी को बहुत गुस्सा आ गया और उन्होंने दंड देने के लिए छड़ी उठाई, तो बालक ने अपना हाथ गुरुजी के सामने कर दिया। गुरुजी ज्योतिष शास्त्र के प्रखर ज्ञाता थे। उन्होंने बच्चे का हाथ देखा, तो उनका सारा गुस्सा शांत हो गया और उन्होंने छड़ी एक तरफ रख दी।

दंड न मिलने पर उस बालक ने जिज्ञासावश पूछा कि, गुरुजी आपने मुझे दंड क्यों नहीं दिया ? इस पर गुरुजी बोले, बेटा तुम्हारे हाथ में विद्या की रेखा नहीं है। विद्या की रोखे न होने के कारण ही तुम्हें पाठ याद नहीं हुआ। तुम आगे भी कभी विद्या प्राप्त नहीं कर सकोगे।

यह सुनकर उस बालक ने एक नुकीला पत्थर उठाया और अपने हाथ पर एक रेखा खींच ली। यही बालक आगे चलकर संस्कृत के प्रख्यात विद्वान पाणिनि के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुआ। जिन्हें हम आज इतिहास पुरुष की संज्ञा देते हैं।

A boy was sent to Gurukul for his education by his father. The boy started teaching in Gurukul. One day, Guruji gave the child a memorization. But after many attempts, the child had not missed the text.

Guruji got very angry and he took a stick to punish him, the boy made his hand in front of Guruji. Guruji was the intelligent knowledge of astrology. When they saw the child’s hand, their anger became calm and they kept the stick aside.

When the punishment was not received, the child asked curiously, why did not you penalize me? On this Guruji said, son is not the line of education in your hands. Due to lack of education, you missed the text. You will not be able to gain further education even further.

Upon hearing this the child raised a pointed stone and pulled a line on his hand. This boy is further popularized by the name of renowned scholar Panini of Sanskrit. Those whom we call history today.
