संत दादू की सहिष्णुता का अनोखा उदाहरण

उस समय की ईश्वर भक्ति उस समय काफी प्रसिद्धि पा चुकी थी। उन्हें गुरु मानने की इच्छा से एक व्यक्ति संत दादू की खोज में निकला। रास्ते में उसे एक साधारण सा व्यक्ति दिखाई दिया। वह व्यक्ति उसके पास पहुंचा और कहा, ‘आप बता सकते हैं कि संत दादू का आश्रम कहां है?’

उस साधारण व्यक्ति ने उस संत की खोज में निकले व्यक्ति की बात अनसुनी कर दी और आगे बढ़ चला। तब उसने उस साधारण व्यक्ति अपमानित किया। क्योंकि वह व्यक्ति पेशे से सैनिक था और व्यवहार से घमंडी। वह अपनी अवहेलना सहन नहीं कर सकता था।

इस तरह वह सैनिक गुस्से में आगे की ओर निकल चला। आगे चलने पर उसे एक और व्यक्ति मिला, उसने उससे भी यही सवाल किया। लेकिन इस व्यक्ति ने उस सैनिक को संत दादू के घर का पता बता दिया।

सैनिक मन ही मन प्रसन्न था। जैसे ही उसने संत दादू को देखा तो वह शर्म से पानी-पानी हो गया। दरअसल जिस साधारण व्यक्ति को उस सैनिक ने अपमानित किया था वही संत दादू थे। सैनिक संत के चरणों में गिर गया और उनसे क्षमा याचना करने लगा।

तब संत दादू ने कहा, भाई, इसमें बुरा मानने की क्या बात? कोई मिट्टी का एक घड़ा भी खरीदता है तो ठोक बजा कर देख लेता है। फिर तुम तो मुझे गुरु बनाने आए थे।’ इस तरह वह संत दादू की सहनशीलता जिसे हम सहिष्णुता भी कहते हैं महसूस कर नतमस्तक हो गया।

The mind of the soldier mind was pleased. As soon as he saw Saint Dadu he became ashamed of water. In fact, the ordinary person who had humiliated the soldier was also a Saint-dadu. The soldier fell at the feet of the Saint and began apologizing to him.

Then Saint Dadu said, brother, what’s the point of being bad in it? If someone purchases a pitcher of clay, then he sees the thumb and plays. Then you came to make me a master. ‘ In this way, he bowed down to the feeling of tolerance of Saint Dadu which we also call tolerance.
