चार भाइयों की कहानी

एक बार की बात है एक गाँव में एक मछुआरा रहता था उसके चार लड़के मोहन, सोहन , अनिल और कपिल थे। मछुआरा नदी में जाकर मछलियाँ पकड़ता था और उसको लेकर जाकर मार्किट में बेच देता था। जिससे उनके खाने का गुजारा ही केवल हो पाता था। एक दिन मछुआरा अपने चारों लड़कों को बुलाता है और कहता है बेटों अब तुम बड़े हो चुके हो मेरे पास तुम लोगों को देने के लिए कुछ भी नहीं है। इस मछुआरे के काम में ज़्यादा कमाई नहीं है तुम शहर में जाकर कोई कमाई का हुनर सीखो और जिससे तुम कमाई कर करो। अपने पिता की यह बात सुनकर सभी भाई मान गए और अगले दिन शहर के लिए चल दिए।

थोड़ी दूर जाने पर उनको चार रास्ते नज़र आये उनमे से बड़ा भाई बोला हम सबको इन अलग अलग रास्तों पर जाना चाहिए और चार साल बाद हम यही पर मिलेंगे। सभी भाई इस बात को मान गए और अलग अलग रास्ते पर निकल गए।

दूसरा भाई सोहन जिस रास्ते पर गया था उस पर चलने पर वह एक नदी के पास पहुँचा जहाँ पर एक व्यक्ति टेलिस्कोप की मदद से आकाश के तारों और ग्रहों को देख रहा था। सोहन ने उस व्यक्ति से हुनर सिखने की बात बताई। वह व्यक्ति सोहन को टेलिस्कोप से तारे ग्रह को देखने का हुनर सिखाने लगा। उसके पास यह हुनर सीखते सीखते कुछ समय बाद सोहन बहुत अच्छे से यह हुनर सीख चूका था। जाते समय वह व्यक्ति को ऐसा टेलिस्कोप देता है जिससे धरती और आसमान की दूर की चीज़े साफ़ देखी जा सकती थी।

तीसरे भाई अनिल को रास्ते पर आगे जाने पर एक शिकारी नज़र आया। अनिल के कहने पर वह उसको यह हुनर सिखाने को तैयार हो गया काफी मेहनत के बाद वह धनुष तीर की मदद से किसी भी निशाने को भेदने में कारगर हो गया। जाते समय शिकारी ने अनिल को तीर और धनुष दिए।

चौथा भाई कपिल जिस रास्ते पर आगे गया तो उसको एक घर नज़र आया जिसमे एक दर्जी कपड़े सिल रहा था। उसने दर्जी को बताया की वह कोई हुनर सिखने का इच्छुक है जिससे वह कुछ कमा सके। दर्जी कपिल को अपने साथ रखकर उसको सिलाई बुनाई सिखाने लगा। जिससे कुछ समय बाद वह बहुत अच्छा दर्जी बन गया। जाते समय दर्जी ने उसको सुई और धागा दिया।

चार साल बाद सभी भाई उसी रास्ते पर एक साथ मिले और अपने घर गए। घर जाकर सबने अपने पिता को अपने अपने हुनर के बारे में बताया।

उसने उन सबके हुनर को जाँचने की सोची और वह सबको लेकर एक पेड़ के पास लेकर गया जिसपर एक चिड़िया ने अंडे दे रखे थे और वह वही बैठी थी।

उसके पिता ने अपने दूसरे लड़के सोहन से पूछा देखकर बताओ कितने अंडे है वह उसने टेलिस्कोप निकाला और बता दिया की वहाँ 5 अंडे है। फिर उसने अपने पहले लड़के मोहन को बोला जाकर अंडे लेकर आओ लेकिन चिड़िया को पता नहीं चलना चाहिए।

उसने ऐसा ही किया वह बड़ी सफ़ाई से अंडे लेकर आया। अब उसके पिता ने अपने तीसरे लड़के अनिल को बोला तुम एक बार में तीर से सभी अंडे को इस तरह से तोड़ो की अंदर चिड़िया के बच्चे को कुछ नहीं होना चाहिए।

उसने ऐसा ही किया और सब अंडे टूट गए। अब मछुआरे ने अपने चौथे लड़के कपिल को बोला अब तुम इन सब अंडो को सिल कर दिखाओ उसने सब अंडे सिल दिए और बड़ा भाई मोहन उसको वही चिड़िया के पास रख आया। इससे मछुआरे को उनके हुनर पर भरोसा हो गया।

मछुआरा जहाँ रहता था वहाँ के राजा की बेटी को एक ड्रैगन उठा कर ले गया राजा ने यह ऐलान कर दिया की जो भी राजा की बेटी को ढूंढ कर लाएगा उसकी शादी वह अपनी बेटी से कर देगा। मछुआरे ने यह बात अपने बेटों को बताई की यही समय है जब तुम अपनी काबिलियत को दिखा सकते हो। अपने पिता की बात मान कर सब भाई राजकुमारी को ढूंढने निकल पड़े।

दूसरे भाई ने अपने टेलिस्कोप से देखा तो उनको पता लगा की ड्रैगन राजकुमारी को अपने साथ एक टापू पर लेकर गया है। उनने राजा से टापू तक जाने के लिए एक नाव की मांग की राजा ने उनको नाव देकर विदा कर दिया।

वहाँ पहुंचकर पहले भाई मोहन ने बड़ी सफ़ाई से राजकुमारी को लेकर नाव पर आ गया जब ड्रैगन सो रखा था। लेकिन जैसे ही वो जाने लगे तभी ड्रैगन जाग गया।

फिर उनके पीछे आकर उनकी नाव पर हमला कर दिया लेकिन तीसरे भाई ने अपनी तीर से ड्रैगन को मार दिया। अब उनकी नाव टूट चुकी थी और वो सब डूबने लग रहे थे तभी चौथे भाई ने वह नाव सिल कर जोड़ दी जिसके बाद वह सब सुरक्षित पहुंच सके। जिसके बाद राजा ने चारों भाइयों से कहा तुम सब आपस में यह निर्णय कर लो कोण मेरी बेटी से शादी करेगा।

सभी भाई आपस में राजकुमारी से शादी करने के लिए लड़ने लगे और सभी राजकुमारी को बचाने के लिए अपने काम को गिनवाने लगे। राजा ने सोचा ऐसे में किसी एक के साथ शादी करने पर मेरी बेटी खुश नहीं रहेगी इसलिए राजा ने उन चारों भाइयों को अपना आधा राज्य देने का निर्णय किया। आधा राज्य पाकर चारों भाई खुशी खुशी अपने पिता के साथ रहने लगे अब वो अमीर हो गए थे।  

English Translation

Once upon a time there lived a fisherman in a village, he had four sons Mohan, Sohan, Anil and Kapil. The fisherman used to catch fish in the river and take it and sell it in the market. Due to which only their food could survive. One day the fisherman calls his four boys and says sons, now you are grown, I have nothing to give to you guys. There is not much earning in the work of this fisherman, you go to the city and learn some earning skill and with which you earn money. Hearing this from their father, all the brothers agreed and left for the city the next day.

After going some distance, he saw four paths, out of which the elder brother said that we should all go on these different paths and after four years we will meet here. All the brothers agreed to this and went on different paths.

After walking for some time on the way Mohan had gone, a person came to see whom Mohan talked to, he has to learn some skills so that he can earn some money. That person said I am a thief and I can teach you the skill of stealing anything. At first, Mohan got scared but later he thought that how is it bad to learn skills, then he agreed to that person and learned the skill of stealing from him. After some time he started stealing things so neatly that no one would even know anything.

On following the path that the second brother Sohan had taken, he reached near a river where a man was watching the stars and planets in the sky with the help of a telescope. Sohan told about learning skills from that person. That person started teaching Sohan the skill of seeing the star-planet with a telescope. After some time learning to learn this skill with him, Sohan had learned this skill very well. While leaving, he gives such a telescope to the person from which the distant things of the earth and the sky could be seen clearly.

On the way ahead, the third brother Anil saw a hunter. At the behest of Anil, he agreed to teach him this skill, after a lot of hard work, he became effective in hitting any target with the help of a bow and arrow. While leaving, the hunter gave Anil arrows and bows.

On the way the fourth brother Kapil went, he saw a house in which a tailor was sewing clothes. He told the tailor that he was keen to learn some skill so that he could earn something. Keeping Kapil with him, the tailor started teaching him to weave stitches. Due to which after some time he became a very good tailor. While leaving, the tailor gave him a needle and thread.

After four years all the brothers met together on the same path and went to their home. After going home, everyone told their father about their skills.

He thought of testing all of them and he took them all to a tree on which a bird had laid eggs and she was sitting there.

Four brothers moral story in Hindi:
His father asked his other boy Sohan, seeing how many eggs there are, he took out the telescope and told that there are 5 eggs. Then he asked his first son, Mohan, to bring the eggs, but the bird should not know.

He did the same, he brought the eggs very cleanly. Now his father told his third boy Anil, you break all the eggs at once with an arrow in such a way that nothing should happen to the baby bird inside.

He did so and all the eggs were broken. Now the fisherman said to his fourth boy Kapil, now you show all these eggs by sewing, he sewed all the eggs and the elder brother Mohan kept it with the same bird. This gave the fisherman confidence in his skill.

A dragon took away the king’s daughter from the place where the fisherman lived. The fisherman told this thing to his sons that this is the time when you can show your ability. Following their father’s advice, all the brothers set out to find the princess.

When the other brother looked through his telescope, he found that the dragon had taken the princess with him to an island. He asked for a boat from the king to go to the island, the king sent him away with a boat.

After reaching there, first brother Mohan took the princess very cleanly and came on the boat when the dragon was sleeping. But as soon as he started leaving, the dragon woke up.

Then came after them and attacked their boat but the third brother killed the dragon with his arrow. Now their boat was broken and they were all starting to sink, only then the fourth brother sewed that boat and joined it after which all of them could reach safely. After which the king said to the four brothers, all of you should decide among yourself, who will marry my daughter.

All the brothers started fighting among themselves to marry the princess and all started counting their work to save the princess. The king thought that in such a situation, my daughter would not be happy if she married someone, so the king decided to give half his kingdom to those four brothers. After getting half the kingdom, the four brothers happily started living with their father, now they had become rich.
