ऐसे कीजिए वासना की परत को छूमंतर

एक धनी व्यक्ति किसी फकीर के पास गया और कहने लगा कि, ‘मैं प्रार्थना करना चाहता हूं, लेकिन तमान कोशिशों के बावजूद प्रार्थना नहीं होती। वासना बनी रहती है। चाहे जितना आंख बंद कर लूं लेकिन परमात्मा के दर्शन नहीं होते।’ इसीलिए आप बताइए कि मैं क्या करूं? क्या कारण है इसका?

फकीर उस धनी को एक खिड़की के पास ले गया जिसमें कांच लगे हुए थे। उसके पार वृक्ष, बादल और सूरज सभी का दर्शन संभव था। फकीर उसे फिर दूसरी खिड़की पर ले गया। जिसमें चांदी की चमकीली परत लगी हुई थी। यहां लाकर फकीर ने धनी व्यक्ति ने पूछा, चांदी की चमकीली परत और कांच में कुछ में तुम क्या अंतर पाते हो ?

धनी ने बताया चमकीली परत पर सिवाय खुद की शक्ल के कुछ भी दिखाई नहीं पड़ता। बाहर की दुनिया तो एक सिरे से गायब है।

फकीर ने समझाया, ‘जिस चमकीली परत के कारण तुमको सिर्फ अपनी शक्ल दिखाई दे रही है वह तुम्हारे मन के चारों तरफ भी है। इसीलिए तुम ध्यान में जिधर भी देखते हो केवल खुद को ही देखते हो। जब तक तुम्हारे ऊपर वासना की चांदी रूपी परत है कुछ दिखाई नहीं देगा इसीलिए इस परत को हटाना होगा। अगर तुम ऐसा करते हो तो तुम्हें प्रार्थना करने में कभी कोई परेशानी नहीं होगी।’

A wealthy man went to a fakir and said, ‘I want to pray, but in spite of trying efforts, prayer is not there. Lust prevails. No matter how many eyes are closed I can not see God. That’s why you tell me what to do? What is the reason?

The fakir took that wealthy to a window in which the glass was attached. It was possible to see the tree, the cloud, and the sun all. The fakir took him to another window again. In which the bright yellow layer of silver was covered. Here, the fakir asked the rich person, what difference do you find in some of the brightness of silver and silver in the glass?

The rich said that nothing on the shiny layer except for the appearance of his own looks. The outside world is disappearing from one end.

Fakir explained, ‘The bright color which you see only because of your appearance is also around your mind. That is why wherever you look in meditation, you see only yourself. As long as you have a silver layer of lust, nothing will be seen, so this layer has to be removed. If you do this then you will never have any problem in praying.
