हर माह में दो चतुर्थी तिथि आती है एक शुक्ल पक्ष में जिसे विनायकी चतुर्थी कहा जाता है दूसरी कृष्ण पक्ष में जिसे संकष्टी चतुर्थी (Sankashti Chaturthi 2020) कहते हैं। इस तरह एक साल में कुल 24 चतुर्थी व्रत पड़ते हैं। लेकिन सभी में माघ मास के कृष्ण पक्ष की संकष्टी चतुर्थी का विशेष महत्व माना गया है। जिसे सकट चौथ, संकटाचौथ, तिलकुट चौथ (Tilkut Chauth) आदि नामों से भी जाना जाता है। जानिए इस व्रत की विधि, महत्व और संपूर्ण व्रत कथा…
महत्व: संकष्टी का अर्थ होता है संकटों का हरण करने वाली चतुर्थी। इस व्रत में भगवान गणेश की पूजा की जाती है। महिलाएं अपने पुत्रों की दीर्घायु और खुशहाल जीवन की कामना के लिए ये व्रत रखती हैं। इस दिन निर्जला व्रत रख भगवान गणपति की विधि विधान अराधना की जाती है तथा उन्हें तिल के लड्डू चढ़ाए जाते हैं।
व्रत की विधि: व्रत रखने वाले इस दिन सुबह स्नान कर निर्जला व्रत करने का संकल्प लें। रात में चंद्र दर्शन के बाद इस व्रत को खोला जाता है। कई जगह महिलाएं पूरे दिन कुछ ग्रहण नहीं करती और अगले दिन इस व्रत को तोड़ती हैं। तो वहीं कुछ स्थानों पर व्रत तोड़ने के बाद खिचड़ी, मूंगफली और फलाहार किया जाता है। इस दिन शकरकंद जरूर खाया जाता है।
पूजा विधि: सकट चौथ के दिन भगवान गणेश की पूजा करने के लिए सुबह स्नान कर स्वच्छ हो जाएं। उसके बाद घर के मंदिर को साफ कर पूजा की तैयारी करें। पूजा के लिए एक साफ चौकी लें जिस पर पीले रंग का कपड़ा बिछाकर भगवान गणेश की मूर्ति को स्थापित करें। फिर विधि विधान पूजा करें। कुछ जगहों पर इस दिन तिल और गुड़ का बकरा बनाकर उसकी बलि दी जाती है। व्रत रखने वाली महिलाएं एक जगह एकत्रित होकर गणेश जी की कथा सुनती हैं। ध्यान रखें, बप्पा की पूजा में जल, अक्षत, दूर्वा, लड्डू, पान, सुपारी का जरूर उपयोग करें। लेकिन तुलसी के पत्ते का भूलकर भी इस्तेमाल न करें।
सकट के दिन ही भगवान गणेश संकट से उबरे थे
सकट के दिन ही भगवान गणेश अपने जीवन के सबसे बड़े संकट से निकलकर आए थे। यही वजह है कि इसे सकट चौथ भी कहा जाता है। कहानी ये है कि एक बार मां पार्वती स्नान के लिए गईं तो पहरेदारी के रूप में द्वार पर गणेश को खड़ा कर दिया। बोलीं कि किसी को अंदर नहीं आने देना। उसी वक्त भगवान शिव आए तो गणपति ने उन्हें अंदर आने से रोक दिया। भगवान शिव क्रोधित हो गए और उन्होंने अपने त्रिशूल से गणेश का सिर धड़ से अलग कर दिया। पुत्र का यह हाल देख मां पार्वती विलाप करने लगीं और अपने पुत्र को जीवित करने की हठ करने लगीं। जब मां पार्वती ने शिव से बहुत अनुरोध किया तो भगवान गणेश को हाथी का सिर लगाकर दूसरा जीवन दिया गया और गणेश गजानन कहलाए जाने लगे।
माघ महीने में पड़ने वाली संकष्टी चतुर्थी की महिमा है ज्यादा
सकट चौथ को संकष्टी चतुर्थी, वक्रकुंडी चतुर्थी, तिलकुटा चौथ के नाम से भी जाना जाता है. कहा जाता है कि इस दिन भगवान गणेश और चंद्रमा की पूजा करने से सारी मनोकामनाएं पूरी हो जाती हैं। संकष्टी चतुर्थी का व्रत वैसे तो हर महीने में होता है लेकिन माघ महीने में पड़ने वाली संकष्टी चतुर्थी की महिमा सबसे ज्यादा है।

There are two Chaturthi Tithi in every month, one in Shukla Paksha which is called Vinayaki Chaturthi and the other in Krishna Paksha which is called Sankashti Chaturthi 2020. Significance: Sankashti means Chaturthi which is the end of the crisis. Lord Ganesha is worshiped in this fast. Women observe this fast for the longevity of their sons and a happy life. On this day, Lord Ganpati is worshiped with the rituals of fasting on Nirjala and offered sesame seeds to him.
The method of fasting: On this day of fasting people, take a bath in the morning and resolve to fast without water. This fast is opened after lunar darshan at night. In many places women do not receive anything throughout the day and break this fast the next day. So at some places, after breaking the fast, khichdi, peanuts and fruits are done. Sweet potato is definitely eaten on this day.
Worship Method: To worship Lord Ganesha on the day of Sakat Chauth, take a bath and clean it in the morning. After that clean the temple of the house and prepare for worship. For Puja, take a clean outpost on which to install the idol of Lord Ganesha by laying a yellow cloth. Then worship Vidhi Vidhi Vidhi. At some places, a goat of sesame and jaggery is sacrificed on this day. The fasting women gather at one place and listen to the story of Ganesha. Keep in mind, use water, akshat, durva, laddu, paan, betel nut in the worship of Bappa. But do not forget to use basil leaves also.
Lord Ganesha was overcome by crisis on the day of Sakat
Lord Ganesha came out of the biggest crisis of his life on the day of Sakat. This is the reason why it is also called Sakat Chauth. The story is that once Maa Parvati went for a bath, she put Ganesh at the gate as a guard. She said not to let anyone in. At the same time Lord Shiva came and Ganpati stopped him from entering. Lord Shiva became enraged and beheaded Ganesha with his trident. Seeing this condition of the son, mother Parvati started mourning and stubbornly tried to make her son alive. When mother Parvati made a lot of request to Shiva, Lord Ganesha was given a second life by putting an elephant’s head and started being called Ganesh Gajanan.
The glory of Sankashti Chaturthi falling in the month of Magha is more
Sakat Chauth is also known as Sankashti Chaturthi, Vakrakundi Chaturthi, Tilakuta Chauth. It is said that worshiping Lord Ganesha and Moon on this day fulfills all desires. The fast of Sankashti Chaturthi is observed in every month, but the glory of Sankashti Chaturthi falling in the month of Magh is the highest.
