मीठी सी शांति चाहिए तो कीजिए धर्मों का अध्ययन

आरिफ सुभानी नाम के एक पक्के दरवेश थे। उन्हें दुनिया की किसी भी वस्तु से मोह नहीं था। पहनने के लिए कपड़ों के अलावा उनकी, अपनी कहलाने वाली कोई भी संपत्ति नहीं थी।

शांतिप्रिय और सादगी पसंद होने के कारण उनके विचार दूसरों से मेल नहीं खाते थे। वो मंदिर, मस्जिद में भी कोई भेद नहीं मानते थे।

एक बार उनके पास एक व्यक्ति रियाज सीखने आया। तब उन्होंने उस व्यक्ति से पूछा, क्या तुम्हें और कोई दूसरा आदमी नहीं मिला। उस व्यक्ति ने कहा कि नहीं, आपसे ही सीखना है।

इस पर सुभानी ने कहा, भाई, ‘यदि तू मुस्लिम है, तो ईसाईयों के पास जा’, ‘अगर शिया है, तो इखराजियों (एक मुस्लिम संप्रदाय) के पास जा’, और अगर ‘सुन्नी है तो ईरान जा’।

यह सब सुनकर उस व्यक्ति को कुछ अटपटा लगा। तब आरिफ सुभानी ने कहा कि, इसका मतलब यह है कि तुम जिस धर्म को मानते है, उस धर्म के विपरीत जाओ, वहां जाकर तुम्हें इतनी सहनशक्ति आ जाए कि तुम्हें किसी बात का दुःख न हो, तो तुम्हें अपने विरोधियों के पास रहने में हिचकिचाहट नहीं होगी। तभी तुमको सच्ची शांति मिलेगी।

सुभानी ने कहा- मेरा आशय यह है कि कोई भी धर्म, दूसरे धर्म का बाधक नहीं होता। खोट हमारे मन में ही होता है कि हम अपने धर्म को श्रेष्ठ और दूसरों के धर्मों को तुच्छ समझते हैं और उन्हें कुधर्म मानकर घृणा करते हैं।

Listening to all this, the person felt somewhat upset. Then Arif Subhani said that, it means that go to the religion you believe, go against that religion, you will get so much stamina that if you do not have any sorrow, then you will feel hesitant to stay with your opponents. Will not be Then you will get true peace.

Subhani said – I mean that no religion is obstructing another religion. It is only in our heart that we regard our religion as superior and despise the religions of others, and despise them as malicious and hate them.
