ईश्वर के बंदों से प्रेम

एक बार भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण ने अर्जुन से कहा, “मैं उससे प्रेम करता हूँ, जो हर प्राणी के प्रति, दुःखियों के प्रति करुणा की भावना रखकर उनसे प्रेम करता है और उनकी सेवा करता है।

ईसा ने भी कहा है, ‘जो पड़ोसी से, अभावग्रस्त से प्रेम करता है, उसकी सहायता करता है, मैं उससे प्रेम करता हूँ।

अरब की एक प्राचीन कथा है। एक रात अबू ने देखा कि एक फरिश्ता किताब में कुछ लिख रहा है। अबू ने फरिश्ते से पूछा कि क्या लिख रहे हो, तो उसने बताया कि मैं उन लोगों के नाम लिख रहा हूँ, जो ईश्वर से प्रेम करते हैं।

अबू ने जिज्ञासावश पूछा कि क्या मेरा नाम इस सूची में है? फरिश्ते ने कहा कि नहीं, इसमें तुम्हारा नाम नहीं है। अबू ने कहा, ‘कोई बात नहीं। तुम मेरा इतना काम कर दो कि मेरा नाम उस सूची में लिख दो, जो ईश्वर के बंदों से प्रेम करता है।

फरिश्ते ने उनका नाम लिख लिया और गायब हो गया। अगली रात फरिश्ता फिर आया। फरिश्ते ने अबू को उन लोगों के नाम दिखाए, जिन्हें ईश्वर ने अपना आशीर्वाद दिया था।

अबू यह देखकर झूम उठा कि उसका नाम सूची में सबसे ऊपर था। अबू को अब यकीन हो गया कि खुदा उसी से प्रेम करता है, जो उसके बंदों से प्रेम करता है। खुदा को खुश करने के लिए, उसका आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करने के लिए उसके बंदों की बस्ती से गुजरना पड़ता है।

गोस्वामी तुलसीदास ने भी कहा है कि जो भक्तों को सताता है, उसे भगवान् श्रीराम के कोप का भाजन बनना पड़ता है। अतः हमेशा ईश्वर के बंदों से प्रेम करने का प्रयास करना चाहिए।

English Translation

Once Lord Krishna said to Arjuna, “I love the one who loves and serves every living being, with a feeling of compassion for the afflicted.

Jesus also said, ‘He who loves the neighbor, the needy, helps him, I love him.

There is an ancient story of Arabia. One night Abu saw an angel writing something in a book. When Abu asked the angel what you were writing, he told that I am writing the names of those people who love God.

Abu asked out of curiosity, is my name on this list? The angel said that no, your name is not there in this. Abu said, ‘No problem. You do so much work for me that you can write my name in the list of those who love God’s servants.

The angel wrote down his name and disappeared. The next night the angel came again. The angel showed Abu the names of those whom God had blessed.

Abu was shocked to see that his name was at the top of the list. Abu was now convinced that God loves the one who loves his servants. In order to please God, one has to pass through the habitation of his slaves to get his blessings.

Goswami Tulsidas has also said that one who persecutes the devotees has to become the wrath of Lord Shri Ram. Therefore, one should always try to love the servants of God.
