किसान की होशियार बेटी की कहानी हिंदी में

एक समय की बात है रामपुर गांव में बलदेव नाम का एक किसान रहता था। उसकी एक बेटी मीना थी जो बहुत सुन्दर और होशियार थी। बलदेव के खेत जमींदार के पास गिरवी थे।

बलदेव खेतों में मेहनत करके घर का गुजारा चलाता था। उसने 3-4 महीने खेत में काम करके एक फ़सल उगाई थी। जो फ़सल अब पक कर तैयार हो चुकी थी। बलदेव ने अपनी सारी फ़सल को बेचकर पैसे कमा लिए। बलदेव फ़सल बेचकर जो भी पैसे मिलते थे उसके तीन हिस्से लगाता था।

एक हिस्सा वह घर के ख़र्च के लिए रखता था। दूसरा हिस्सा जमींदार को ब्याज़ के रूप में देता था और तीसरा हिस्सा अपनी बेटी मीना की शादी के लिए अलग से रख देता था। फ़सल बिकने पर जमींदार अपना ब्याज़ लेने बलदेव के घर पहुंच गया।

वहाँ पर उसने मीना को देखा जो की बहुत सुन्दर थी। उसके बाद वह बलदेव से अपना ब्याज़ लेकर चला गया। कुछ दिनों में बलदेव अपनी अगली फ़सल उगाने में लग गया। 3-4 महीने की मेहनत के बाद फ़सल उग गयी और कुछ दिनों के बाद उसकी कटाई होने वाली थी।

लेकिन तभी बारिश शुरू हो गयी और कुछ दिनों तक लगातार बारिश होती रही जिससे सारी फ़सल ख़राब हो गयी। इससे बलदेव और उसकी बेटी मीना बहुत दुखी हो गए। कुछ दिनों के बाद जमींदार अपना ब्याज़ लेने के लिए बलदेव के घर पर पहुंच गया।

बलदेव ने उसको बताया की अबकी बार बारिश की वजह से उसकी सारी फ़सल ख़राब हो गयी। जमींदार ने मीना की तरफ़ देखा और बलदेव से बोला यदि तुम अपनी बेटी की शादी मुझसे करा देते हो तो मै तुम्हारा सारा कर्ज माफ़ कर दूंगा। इस पर बलदेव ने आपत्ति जताई तो जमींदार ने एक तरकीब बताई की हम एक खेल खेलते है।

इसमें में एक काला और सफ़ेद पत्थर मै एक मटके के अंदर डाल दूंगा। मीना को उसमे से बिना देखे एक पत्थर को निकलना है। यदि वह काला पत्थर निकालेगी तो मीना को मुझसे शादी करनी होगी और मै तुम्हारा सारा कर्ज माफ़ कर दूंगा।

यदि वह सफ़ेद पत्थर निकालेगी तो उसको मुझसे शादी नहीं करनी पड़ेगी और मै तुम्हारा सारा कर्ज माफ़ कर दूंगा।

बलदेव को जमींदार का ब्याज़ भी देना था यदि वह उसकी बात नहीं मानता तो उसने खेल के लिए हा कर दी। जमींदार बहुत धोखेबाज़ था उसने जमीन से दोनों काले पत्थर लिए  और मटके के अंदर डाल दिए। मीना ने उसको दोनों काले पत्थर मटके के अंदर डालते हुए देख लिया।

मीना बहुत होशियार थी उसने कुछ देर सोचा फिर मटके के अंदर से एक पत्थर निकाला और गिरने का बहाना बना कर जमीन में गिर गयी और उस पत्थर को बाकी सभी पत्थर में मिला दिया। जमींदार और बलदेव सोचने लगे जो पत्थर मीना ने उठाया था वह कैसे पता चलेगा तो मीना बोली इसका पता हम मटके के अंदर के पत्थर से लगा सकते है।

मटके के अंदर पत्थर देखा तो उसका रंग काला था इसका मतलब मीना ने जो पत्थर उठाया और जो हाथ से गिर गया था उसका रंग सफ़ेद था। इस तरह मीना की होशियारी से बलदेव का कर्ज भी माफ़ हो गया और मीना को जमींदार से शादी भी नहीं करनी पड़ी।  

English Translation

Once upon a time there lived a farmer named Baldev in Rampur village. He had a daughter Meena who was very beautiful and intelligent. Baldev’s fields were mortgaged to the zamindar.

Baldev used to work hard in the fields to earn his living. He had grown a crop by working in the field for 3-4 months. The crop which was now ripe and ready. Baldev earned money by selling all his crops. Baldev used to spend three parts of the money he got by selling the crop.

He used to keep a part for household expenses. The second part was given as interest to the zamindar and the third part was set aside for the marriage of his daughter Meena. After the sale of the crop, the zamindar reached Baldev’s house to collect his interest.

There he saw Meena who was very beautiful. After that he left with his interest from Baldev. Within a few days, Baldev started growing his next crop. After 3-4 months of hard work, the crop grew and after a few days it was about to be harvested.

But then it started raining and it rained continuously for a few days which ruined the whole crop. This made Baldev and his daughter Meena very sad. After a few days the zamindar reached Baldev’s house to collect his interest.

Baldev told him that this time due to rain all his crops got spoiled. The zamindar looked at Meena and said to Baldev, if you get your daughter married to me, I will forgive all your debts. When Baldev objected to this, the landlord told an idea that we play a game.

In this, I will put a black and white stone inside a pot. Meena has to remove a stone from it without seeing it. If she takes out the black stone then Meena will have to marry me and I will forgive all your debts.

Baldev also had to pay the landlord’s interest, if he did not listen to him, then he refused to play. The landlord was very deceitful, he took both the black stones from the ground and put them inside the pot. Meena saw him putting both the black stones inside the pot.

Meena was very smart, she thought for a while, then took out a stone from inside the pot and on the pretext of falling she fell into the ground and mixed that stone with all the other stones. The landlord and Baldev started thinking how to know the stone that Meena had picked up, then Meena said, we can find out from the stone inside the pot.

When I saw the stone inside the pot, its color was black, that means the stone that Meena picked up and the one that fell from her hand was white in color. In this way Baldev’s debt was also forgiven due to Meena’s cleverness and Meena did not even have to marry the landlord.
