जानिए क्यो मनाया जाता है बैसाखी का त्योहार – WHY BAISAKHI CELEBRATED

बैसाखी (baisakhi) उतर भारत विशेषकर पंजाब और हरियाणा मे मनाए जाने के वाला एक विशेष त्योहार है। इसे  “वैसाखी” भी कहा जाता है . केरल मे इस त्योहार को ‘विशु’ कहा जाता है। इसे खेती का त्योहार भी कहा जाता है। बैसाखी (baisakhi) हर साल 14 अप्रैल को धूमधाम से मनाई जाती है। वैसे तो इस त्योहार को मनाने की कोई एक वजह नहीं है। पंजाब और हरियाणा मे यह एक आध्यात्मिक त्योहार है तो किसानो के लिए फसल  कटने के उल्लास में मनाए जाने वाला एक विशेष त्योहार।

1) खालसा पंथ की स्थापना – सिक्खो के लिए इस त्योहार का एक बड़ा महत्व है। सिखों के दसवें  गुरु – गुरु गोबिन्द सिंह जी  ने वर्ष 1699 मे इसी (baisakhi) दिन ही गुरुद्वारा आनंदपुर साहिब में में खालसा पंथ की स्थापना की थी। ‘खालसा’  खालिस शब्द से बना है जिसका मतलब है – शुद्ध, पावन या पवित्र । इसके पीछे गुरु गोबिन्द सिंह जी का मुख्य उदेश्य लोगों को तत्कालीन शासकों के अत्याचारों और जुल्मो से मुक्त करके लोगो की  ज़िंदगी मे सुधार लाना था।

इसके द्वारा गुरु गोबिन्द सिंह जी ने लोगों को जाति और धर्म के आधार पर भेदभाव छोड़कर इसके स्थान पर धर्म और नेकी  की राह दिखाई।

2) किसानो के लिए महत्व – किसानो के लिए बैसाखी (baisakhi) का  दिन रबी की फसल  पकने की खुशी के रूप मे मनाया जाता है। पंजाब और हरियाणा मे  जब  रबी की फसल पककर तैयार हो जाती है तब यह पर्व धूम धाम से मनाया जाता है। इस दिन गेहूं, तिलहन और गन्ने की फसल काटने की शुरुआत होती है। लोग मंदिर और गुरुद्वारे मे जाकर भगवान को धन्यवाद करते है।

3) हिन्दुओ के लिए महत्व – पोराणिक कथाओ के अनुसार इसी दिन देवी गंगा स्वर्ग से धरती पर उतरी थी। इसलिए इस दिन लोग गंगा नदी मे पवित्र स्नान करते है।

4) स्वधिनता और बैसाखी (baisakhi) – 13 अप्रैल 1919  को हजारो लोग रॉलेट एक्ट के विरोध में  पंजाब के अमृतसर मे स्थित जलियाँवाला बाग में एकत्र हुए थे। जनरल डायर ने इसी दिन हजारो लोगो पर अंधादुंद गोलियां बरसाई और हजारो लोगो को मार डाला। इस घटना ने  देश की आजादी के आंदोलन को एक नई दिशा प्रदान की। इसी घटना ने ही भगत सिंह को अंगेजों के विरूद्ध खड़े होने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

कारण कोई भी हो लेकिन हर त्योहार की तरह इस त्योहार की भी अपनी एक पहचान है। चाहे त्योहार जो भी हो लेकिन यह हमारी सुस्त पड़ी हुई ज़िंदगी मे उत्साह, सुखद और सकरात्मक परिवर्तन लाने का काम करते है।

Baisakhi (baisakhi) is a special festival celebrated in India, especially in Punjab and Haryana. It is also called “Vaisakhi”. This festival is called ‘Vishu’ in Kerala. It is also called the festival of cultivation. Baisakhi (baisakhi) is celebrated every year on 14th April. Well there is no reason to celebrate this festival. This is a spiritual festival in Punjab and Haryana, a special festival celebrated in the glee of harvesting for the farmers.

1) Establishment of Khalsa Panth – This festival has a major significance for Sikhs. The tenth Guru of the Sikhs – Guru Gobind Singh ji founded the Khalsa Panth in the year 1699 (baisakhi) in Gurdwara Anandpur Sahib. Khalsa is made up of Khalis, which means pure, pure or sacred. Behind this, the main purpose of Guru Gobind Singh Ji was to improve the life of the people by reducing the atrocities and oppression of the then rulers.

By this, Guru Gobind Singh ji showed people the path of religion and goodness in their place, leaving the discrimination on the basis of caste and religion.

2) Importance for farmers – For the farmers, the day of baisakhi (baisakhi) is celebrated as the joy of rabi harvest. In Punjab and Haryana, when the rabi crop is ready, this festival is celebrated with gusto. On this day, harvesting of wheat, oilseeds and sugarcane starts harvesting. People go to temple and gurus and thank God.

3) Importance for Hindus – According to mythology, Goddess Ganga was on earth from heaven on this day. Therefore, on this day people take a holy bath in the river Ganges.

4) Swadhinata and Baisakhi – On April 13, 1919, thousands of people gathered in Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, Punjab, in protest of the Act of the Act. On this day, General Dyer, killed thousands of people on angled bullets and killed thousands of people. This incident provided a new direction to the country’s freedom movement. This incident prompted Bhagat Singh to stand against Angehs.

Whatever the reason, but like every festival, this festival also has its own identity. Whatever the festival, but it works to bring excitement, pleasant and positive change in our sluggish life.
