सचमुच! भक्त भी भगवान को देते हैं सीख

यह बात त्रेतायुग में उस समय की है जब केवट भगवान के चरण धो रहा हैं, वह भगवान राम का एक पैर धोते और उसे निकालकर कठौती से बाहर रख देते हैं। और जब दूसरा धोने लगता है तो पहला वाला पैर गीला होने से जमीन पर रखने से धूल भरा हो जाता है।

केवट दूसरा पैर बाहर रखता है। फिर पहले वाले को धोता है। एक-एक पैर को सात-सात बार धोता है। और कहते हैं प्रभु एक पैर कठौती मे रखिए दूसरा मेरे हाथ पर रखिए ताकि मैला ना हो जब भगवान ऐसा करते है तो जरा सोचिए क्या स्थिति होगी।

यदि एक पैर कठौती में है तो दूसरा केवट के हाथों में भगवान दोनों पैरों से खड़े नहीं हो पाते बोले, केवट मैं गिर जाऊंगा? केवट बोला, चिंता क्यों करते हो सरकार दोनों हाथों को मेरे सिर पर रखकर खड़े हो जाइए नहीं गिरेंगे

जैसे किसी छोटे बच्चे को जब उसकी मां उसे स्नान कराती है। तो बच्चा मां के सिर पर हाथ रखकर खड़ा हो जाता है।

भगवान भी आज वैसे ही खड़े हैं। भगवान केवट से बोले भईया केवट मेरे अंदर का अभिमान आज टूट गया। केवट बोला प्रभु! क्या कह रहे हैं? भगवान बोले सच कह रहा हूं केवट अभी तक मेरे अंदर अभिमान था कि मैं भक्तो को गिरने से बचाता हूं पर आज पता चला कि भक्त भी भगवान को गिरने से बचाता है।
