आज स्कूल में शहर की LADY SDM आने वाली थी क्लास की सारी लड़कियां ख़ुशी के मारे फूले नहीं समां रही थी सबकी बातों में सिर्फ एक ही बात थी SDM और हो भी क्यों न आखिर वो भी एक लड़की थी पर एक ओर जब सब लड़कियां व्यस्त थी SDM की चर्चाओं में एक लड़की सीट की लास्ट बेंच पर बैठी पेन और उसके कैप से खेल रही थी उसे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता था कौन आ रहा है और क्यों आ रहा है

वो अपने में मस्त थी वो लड़की थी आरुषि आरुषि पास के ही एक गांव के एक किसान की एकलौती बेटी थी स्कूल और उसके घर का फासला लगभग 10 किलोमीटर का था जिसे वो साइकिल से तय करती थी स्कूल में बाकि की सहेलियां उससे इसलिए ज्यादा नहीं जुड़कर रहती थी क्योंकि वो उनकी तरह रईस नहीं थी लेकिन इसमें उसका क्या दोष था खैर उसकी जिंदगी सेट कर दी गयी थी इंटरमीडिएट के बाद उसे आगे नहीं पढ़ा सकते थे क्योंकि उसके पापा पैसा सिर्फ एक जगह लगा सकते थे या शादी में और या तो आगे की पढाई में उसके परिवार में कोई भी मैट्रिक से ज्यादा पढ़ा नहीं था

 बस यही रोड मैप उसके आँखों के सामने हमेशा घूमता रहता कि ये क्लास उसकी अंतिम क्लास है और इसके बाद उसकी शादी कर दी जाएगी इसीलिए वो आगे सपने ही नहीं देखती थी और इसीलिए उस दिन एसडीएम के आने का उसपर कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ा ठीक 12 बजे SDM उनके स्कूल में आयी  यही कोई 24 -25 की साल की लड़की नीली बत्ती की अम्बेसडर गाड़ी और साथ में 4 पुलिसवाले 2 घंटे के कार्यक्रम के बाद एसडीएम चली गयी लेकिन आरुषि के दिल में बहुत बड़ी उम्मीद छोड़कर गयी उसे अपनी जिंदगी से अब प्यार हो रहा था  जैसे उसके सपने अब आज़ाद होना चाहते हो

ये पुरानी किताबें उसे आधी कीमत में मिल जाती थी वो एक किताब खरीदकर लाती और पढ़ने के बाद उसे बेचकर दूसरी किताब  कहते हैं न कि जब परिंदों के हौसलों में शिद्दत होती है तो आसमान भी अपना कद झुकाने लगता है आरुषि की लगन को देखकर उस दुकान वाले अंकल ने उसे किताबे फ्री में देनी शुरू की और कुछ किताबें तो खुद नयी खरीदकर दे देते और कहते कि बिटिया जब बन जाना तो सूद समेत वापस कर देना

 कुछ भी हो आरुषि इस यकीन को नहीं तोडना चाहती थी ग्रेजुएशन के 2 साल पूरे हो गए और उसकी तैयारी लगातार चलती रही सब ठीक चल रहा था कि अचानक उसके माँ की तबियत ख़राब हो गयी इलाज के लिए पैसे की जरुरत थी लेकिन पहले से की घर क़र्ज़ में डूब चूका था अंत में पापा ने जमीन गिरवी रख दी और इसी बीच उसने ग्रेजुएशन के तीसरे वर्ष में दाखिला लिया  समस्याएं दामन नहीं छोड़ रही थी

आरुषि कब तक अपने हौसलो को मजबूत बनाने की कोशिस करती आख़िरकार एक दिन मां से लिपटकर वो बहुत रोई और एक ही बात पूछी  मां हमारे कभी अच्छे दिन नहीं आएंगे   मां ने उसे साहस दिया  और फिर से उसने कोशिस की  कहते हैं न कि योद्धा कभी पराजित नहीं होते या तो विजयी होते हैं और या तो वीरगति को प्राप्त होते हैं
