हमारे आसपास हैं ये तीन डाकू

बहुत पुरानी बात है। एक समय जंगल से एक यात्री अपनी मंजिल की ओर जा रहा था। अचानक उसे तीन डाकुओं ने घेर लिया और उसका सारा धन लूट लिया।

उस व्यक्ति को लूट लेने के बाद एक डाकू बोला,’अब इस आदमी को जिंदा छोड़ देने से क्या लाभ?’यह कहकर उसने म्यान से तलवार खींच ली।तब दूसरे डाकू ने उसे रोका और कहा,’जब हम इसका सब कुछ धन ले ही चुके हैं तो इसे मारने से क्या लाभ?’इसे रस्सी से बांधकर यहीं छोड़ जाते हैं। अगर भाग्य ने साथ दिया तो यह बच जाएगा नहीं तो यहीं किसी जंगली जानवर का भोज बन जाएगा।

तय रणनीति के तहत डाकुओं ने ऐसा ही किया। कुछ देर बाद तीसरा डाकू लौटकर आया,उसने उस यात्री की रस्सी खोल उसे मुक्त कर दिया और बोला,’भाई! मुझे अफसोस है। मैं तुम्हें सही रास्ते तक छोड़ देता हूं।’

तीसरे यात्री की कृतज्ञता देख यात्री ने कहा,’आप मेरे यहां आतिथ्य ग्रहण करो।’तीसरे डाकू ने कहा,’मैं किसी ओर दिन तुम्हें दूसरे वेश में मिलूंगा। यात्री अपने घर पहुंचा तो उसके चेहरे पर ग़म की वजह मुस्कान आ गई।’

क्योंकि उसका लुटा हुआ सामान पहले से यहां मौजूद था। साथ में एक पत्र रखा हुआ था उसमें लिखा था…

‘दुनिया एक जंगल है। उसमें तीन डाकू रहते हैं। वे हैं सत्व,रजस और तमस। तमस मनुष्य को समाप्त करने का प्रयत्न करता है। रजस उसे संसार में बांधता है। परंतु सत्व उसे तमस और रजस के चंगुल से छुड़ाकर उस मार्ग पर छोड़ता है,जहां कोई भय नहीं। यानी ईश्वर के चरणों में।’
