जो होता है अच्छा होता है

समुद्र के किनारे एक गांव था। जहां अमूमन मछुआरे रहते थे। वह अपनी नावें लेकर दूर-दूर तक गहरे समुद्र की ओर निकल पड़ते। एक दिन ऐसी ही स्थिति में तूफान आ गया। मछुआरों की नावें रास्ता भटक गईं।

ऐसे में मछुआरों के परिजन समुद्र किनारे आकर उनके सकुशल की उम्मीद करने लगे। वे सभी दुःखी थे। तभी एक और दुःखद घटना घट गई। एक मछुआरे की झोपड़ी में आग लग गई। महिलाओं ने आग बुझाने की कोशिश की लेकिन वो नाकाम रहीं।

सुबह हुई सभी मछुआरे वापस आ गए। लेकिन जिस घर में आग लगी थी। उस मछुआरे की पत्नी ने अपने पति से कहा, हम बर्बाद हो चुके हैं क्योंकि कल रात हमारे घर में आग लग गई थी। अब कुछ भी नहीं बचा है।

यह सुनकर उसके पति के खुशी का ठिकाना न रहा वह बोला ईश्वर का धन्यवाद हो, ‘रात में जलती हुई झोपड़ी देखकर ही तो हम अपनी नावें किनारे पर लगा पाए। अगर ऐसा नहीं होता तो हम समु्द्र में खो जाते।’
