प्रेम ही परमात्मा

महर्षि अरविंद से एक दिन एक जिज्ञासु ने प्रश्न किया, ‘क्या ईश्वर को प्रत्यक्ष देखा जा सकता है?’ महर्षि ने उत्तर दिया, ‘जिस प्रकार प्रेम और सुख की मात्र अनुभूति की जा सकती है, उसी प्रकार सच्चा प्रेम करना सीखो, ईश्वर की अनुभूति स्वयं होने लगेगी । ‘

कुछ क्षण रुककर उन्होंने फिर कहा, ‘क्या कोई वायु, गंध आदि का साकार रूप देख सकता है? उसी प्रकार यदि कोई सच्चे हृदय से भगवान् के दर्शन के लिए उसके प्रेम में तड़पने लगे, तो उसे सहज ही में प्रभु के दर्शन की अनुभूति होने लगती है।

महर्षि अरविंद ने आगे कहा, ‘हम सभी वस्तुओं में ईश्वर का अनुभव कर रहे हैं। सूर्य, चंद्र, तारे, वृक्ष, वनस्पति, समुद्र और सरिताएँ उसी का गुणगान कर रही हैं।

यह विशाल विश्व उसका खेल ही नहीं है, उसमें महान प्रज्ञान की गहराई छिपी है। सांसारिक सुखों के झूठे आकर्षण ने आज मनुष्य को भ्रमित कर भटकाया है। इसी भ्रामक स्थिति के कारण मानव अपने दुःख और कष्ट को ही सुख मानने लगा है।

वे आगे कहते हैं, ‘शाश्वत प्रेम का अभ्यासी व्यक्ति मानवीय वस्तुओं को भी ईश्वरीय बना देने की क्षमता रखता है। सच्चा प्रेम ही पृथ्वी और स्वर्ग के बीच ज्वलंत श्रृंखला के समान है प्रेम ही पृथ्वी पर ईश्वर का देवदूत है।

प्रेम के स्वर्ण पंखों में वह शक्ति है, जो अनेक लोगों तक पहुँचकर सत्य का साक्षात्कार कर सकती है। अरविंद अकसर कहा करते थे, ‘आत्म तत्त्व को जान लेना ही सच्चा ज्ञान है, मुक्ति का साधन है।

English Translation

One day a student asked Maharishi Aurobindo, ‘Can God be seen directly?’ The feeling itself will happen. ‘

After stopping for a few moments he said again, ‘Can one see the corporeal form of air, smell etc.? Similarly, if one begins to yearn for the darshan of the Lord with a sincere heart in his love, then he easily begins to feel the darshan of the Lord.

Maharishi Arvind further said, ‘We are experiencing God in all things. Sun, moon, stars, trees, vegetation, sea and streams are praising Him.

This vast world is not only his game, but the depth of great wisdom is hidden in it. The false attraction of worldly pleasures has misled and misled man today. Due to this confusing situation, human beings have started considering their sorrow and suffering as happiness.

He goes on to say, ‘A person practicing eternal love has the ability to make even human things divine. True love is like a fiery chain between earth and heaven, love is the angel of God on earth.

There is that power in the golden wings of love, which can reach many people and realize the truth. Aurobindo often used to say, ‘Knowing the Self is the only true knowledge, the means of liberation.
