द्वादश ज्योतिर्लिंगों के अर्चा विग्रह – श्री सोमनाथ

इस विश्व में जो कुछ भी दृश्य देखा जाता है तथा जिसका वर्णन एवं स्मरण किया जाता है, वह सब भगवान शिव का ही रूप है । करूणासिंधुअपने आराधकों, भक्तों तथा श्रद्धास्पद साधकों और प्राणिमात्र की कल्याण की कामना से उन पर अनुग्रह करते हुए स्थल – स्थल पर अपने विभिन्न स्वरूपों में स्थित हैं । जहां – जहां जब – जब भक्तों ने भक्तिपूर्वक भगवान शंभु का स्मरण किया, तहां – तहां तब – तब वे अवतार लेकर भक्तों का कार्य संपन्न करके स्थित हो गये । लोकों का उपकार करने के लिये उन्होंने अपने स्वरूपभूत लिंग की कल्पना की । आराधकों की आराधना से प्रसन्न होकर भगवान शिव उन – उन स्थानों में ज्योतीरूप में आविर्भूत हुए और ज्योतिर्लिंग रूप में सदा के लिये विद्यमान हो गये । उनका ज्योति:स्वरूप सभी के लिये वंदनीय, पूजनीय एवं नमनीय है । पृथ्वी पर वर्तमान शिवलिंगों की संख्या असंख्य है तथापि इनमें द्वादश ज्योतिर्लिंगों की प्रधानता है । इनकी निष्ठापूर्वक उपासना से पुरुष अवश्य ही परम सिद्धि प्राप्त कर लेता है, अथवा वह शिवरूप हो जाता है । शिवपुराण तथा स्कंदादि पुराणों में इन ज्योतिर्लिंगों की महिमा का विशेष रूप से प्रतिपादन हुआ है । आज पूरे दिन संस्कार के सभी फेसबुक दर्शकों के लिए प्रत्येक ज्योतिर्लिंग का विवरण दिया जाएंगा –
