एक क्षमा ऐसी

गोदावरी नदी का तट और उसके नजदीक एकाग्रता पूर्ण तरीके से संत एकनाथ बैठे हुए थे। उनके दर्शन के लिए दूर-दूर से लोग आते थे। वह जिस गांव में रहते थे, वहां एक चबूतरा था। जहां दिनभर संत विरोधियों का जमघट रहता था।

एक दिन वहां एक व्यक्ति आया और तब उन्होंने कहा, तुम संत एकनाथ को नाराज करके दिखाओ। इसके बदले में हम तुम्हें धन देंगे। लालच के वश में वशीभूत वह व्यक्ति संत एकनाथ के पास जा पहुंचा।

वह व्यक्ति ध्यान में बैठे हुए संत एकनाथ को तरह-तरह की गतिविधियों से परेशान करने लगा। एकनाथ शांत रहे। उन्होंने आंखे खोली और उससे कहा, ‘बंधु आज का भोजन तुम यहीं करके जाओ।’

व्यक्ति ने सोचा भी नहीं था कि जिन संत को वह इतना प्रताड़ित कर रहा है वह उसे भोजन के लिए भी आमंत्रित करेंगे। उनकी इस क्षमाशीलता को देख वह व्यक्ति अभिभूत हो गया।

आपको क्रोध तभी आएगा, जब आप चाहेंगे। जब तक आप नहीं चाहेंगे तो आपको क्रोध नहीं आएगा। संत एकनाथ ने अपने क्रोध पर काबू रखने के सिद्धि अपने धैर्य के जरिए पाई थी। जिसके कारण है वह विषम परिस्थितियों भी भी सहज बने रहते थे।

Saint Eknath was sitting on the banks of Godavari river and near its concentration. People used to visit from far away for their philosophy. In the village where he lived, there was a platform. Where there was a lot of saint protesters throughout the day.

One person came there one day and then he said, ‘Show off the anger of Saint Eknath.’ In return we will give you money. The person who is possessed by greed has reached Sant Eknath.

The person sitting in meditation started troubling Sant Eknath with a variety of activities. Eknath remained calm. He opened his eyes and said to him, ‘Brother, today you have to eat today’s food.’

The person did not even think that the saint who is so harassing him, would invite him for food too. The person who was overwhelmed by this forgiveness was overwhelmed.

You will only get angry, when you want. Unless you want to, you will not get angry. Saint Eknath found the accomplishment of controlling his anger through his patience. Because of which the untimely circumstances also remained intact too.
