किस्सा आईने का, वो समझ नहीं पाया

एक साहुकार को धन इकट्ठा करने का बड़ा ही शौक था। उसे अपनी योग्यता का भी बहुत अहंकार था। जब कोई उसके घर, भीख मांगने आता तो वो उन्हें भला-बुरा कहता। एक दिन उस साहुकार ने एक महात्मा को भोजन करवाया। फिर उन्हें एक आईना दिया, उस साहूकार ने कहा आपको जो भी व्यक्ति सबसे बड़ा मूर्ख दिखाई दे उसे आप ये दे देना।

महात्मा जी वह आईना लेकर चले गए। लेकिन एक बार घूमते हुए वह फिर से उसी शहर में आए। उन्होंने देखा वह साहुकार मृत्यु शैय्या पर है। वह उससे मिलने पहुंचे तो साहुकार ने कहा, महाराज इस दुनिया में ऐसी कोई विद्या है जिससे मेरे प्राण बच सकें।

महात्मा जी ने मना कर दिया। उन्होंने कहा, तुम्हारा धन भी तुम्हें मृत्यु से नहीं बचा सकता है। महात्मा उस साहुकार के बारे में जानते थे। तब उन्होंने अपने झोले से वही आईना निकाला और साहुकार को दिखाया। महात्मा जी ने कहा, मुझे अभी तक कोई मूर्ख नहीं मिला। लेकिन तुम धन से मृत्यु को खरीदना चाहते हो इससे बड़ी मूर्खता क्या होगी। तुमने धन को एकत्रित करने में व्यर्थ ही जिंदगी गंवा दी।

संक्षेप में

जिंदगी में c कितनी भी हों, अंत समय में इन सभी वस्तुओं का कोई मूल्य नहीं रह जाता। मृत्यु के आगे सभी को नतमस्तक होना पड़ता है। वही व्यक्ति इस जीवन में सफल हो सकता है जिसे इन सभी वस्तुओं का मोह न हो।

A lover was very fond of collecting money. He had too much ego of his qualifications. When someone comes to his house,  bagger he calls them good and bad. One day that sahukar gave food to a Mahatma. Then he gave them a mirror, the moneylender said that you give this to anyone who is the most stupid person you see.

Mahatma ji went away with the mirror. But once roaming, he came back to the same city. They saw that the sister-in-law is on death bed. When he came to meet him, the sahukar said, “Maharaj is such a lore in this world that can save my life.”

Mahatma ji refused. They said, your wealth can not save you from death. The Mahatma knew about that moneylender. Then he pulled out the same mirror from his parrot and showed the lover. Mahatma ji said, I have not found any fool yet. But you want to buy death with money, what will be the big stupidity? You lost life in vain in collecting money.

Whatever the physical pleasures in life, there is no value of all these things in the end. Everyone has to bow down before death. The same person can be successful in this life which is not tempted by all these things.
