खुशी कुछ पाने से नहीं, बल्कि देने से मिलती है

एक आध्यात्मिक गुरु थे। एक आयोजन में उनके अनेक शिष्य आए। गुरु जी ने अपने शिष्यों के लिए एक प्रतियोगिता रखी। हर व्यक्ति को एक गुब्बारा दे दिया और उस पर अपना-अपना नाम लिखने को कहा। सारे गुब्बारे इकट्ठा कर दूसरे कमरे में रख दिए गए।

फिर उन लोगों से कहा गया कि वे एक साथ उस कमरे में जाकर अपने नाम का गुब्बारा ढूंढकर लाएं। वही जीतेगा, जो दो मिनट के अंदर अपने नाम का गुब्बारा ले आएगा। प्रतियोगिता शुरू होते ही सभी लोग कमरे की ओर दौड़ पड़े।

एक साथ जाने से लोग एक-दूसरे पर ही गिरने लगे। कमरे में अव्यवस्था फैल गई। गुब्बारे फूट गए। फलत: कोई भी व्यक्ति दो मिनट के भीतर अपने नाम का गुब्बारा नहीं ला सका।

अबकी बार आयोजकों ने फिर हर व्यक्ति के नाम लिखे गुब्बारे तैयार किए और लोगों से कहा, वे एक-एक करके कमरे में जाएं और कोई भी एक गुब्बारा उठाकर ले आएं और उस पर जिस व्यक्ति का नाम लिखा हो, उसे दे दें। तेजी से काम करने पर दो मिनटों में हर व्यक्ति के हाथ में उसका नाम लिखा गुब्बारा था।

अब गुरु जी ने समझाते हुए कहा, ‘जीवन में भी आप लोग पागलों की तरह खुशियां तलाश रहे हैं, लेकिन वह इस तरह नहीं मिलती। जब आप दूसरों को खुशियां देने लगेंगे, तो आपको अपनी खुशी मिल जाएगी।’

There was a spiritual master. Many of his disciples came to the event Guru ji kept a competition for his disciples. Everybody gave a balloon and asked to write their name on it. All the balloons were collected and put in another room.

Then those people were asked to go to that room and find a balloon of their name. He will win the balloon of his name within two minutes. As the competition started, all the people ran towards the room.

Together, people started falling on each other. Disorder spread in the room. Balloons exploded. As such, no person could bring a balloon of his name within two minutes.

Now the organizers again made the balloons written by every person and said to the people, they go to the room one by one and bring one of the balloons and give it to the person’s name written on it. After working fast, in every two minutes, every person had a balloon written in his hand.

Now, Guru Ji explained, “Even in your life you are looking for happiness like crazy, but he does not get like this. When you start giving happiness to others, you will find happiness. ‘
