बंदे को हर बुराई से दूर रखकर अल्लाह के नजदीक लाने का मौका देने वाले पाक महीने रमजान की रूहानी चमक से दुनिया एक बार फिर रोशन हो चुकी है और फिजा में घुलती अजान और दुआओं में उठते लाखों हाथ खुदा से मुहब्बत के जज्बे को शिद्दत दे रहे हैं  दौड़-भाग और खुदगर्जी भरी जिंदगी के बीच इंसान को अपने अंदर झांकने और खुद को अल्लाह की राह पर ले जाने की प्रेरणा देने वाले रमजान माह में भूख-प्यास समेत तमाम शारीरिक इच्छाओं तथा झूठ बोलने, चुगली करने खुदगर्जी, बुरी नजर डालने जैसी सभी बुराइयों पर लगाम लगाने की मुश्किल कवायद   रोजेदार को अल्लाह के बेहद करीब पहुंचा देती है  दारुल उलूम देवबंद के मुहतमिम मौलाना अब्दुल कासिम नोमानी रमजान की फजीलत के बारे में कहते हैं कि इस माह में रोजेदार अल्लाह के नजदीक आने की कोशिश के लिए भूख-प्यास समेत तमाम इच्छाओं को रोकता है। बदले में अल्लाह अपने उस इबादत गुजार रोजेदार बंदे के बेहद करीब आकर उसे अपनी रहमतों और बरकतों से नवाजता है  उन्होंने कहा कि इस्लाम की पांच बुनियादों में रोजा भी शामिल है और इस पर अमल के लिए ही अल्लाह ने रमजान का महीना मुकर्रर किया है। खुद अल्लाह ने कुरान शरीफ में इस महीने का जिक्र किया है  रमजान की विशेषताओं का जिक्र करते हुए नोमानी ने बताया कि इंसान के अंदर जिस्म और रूह है। आम दिनों में उसका पूरा ध्यान खाना-पीना और दीगर जिस्मानी जरूरतों पर रहता है लेकिन असल चीज उसकी रूह है। इसी की तरबियत और पाकीजगी के लिए अल्लाह ने रमजान बनाया है  नोमानी ने बताया कि रमजान में की गई हर नेकी का सवाब कई गुना बढ़ जाता है। इस महीने में एक रकात नमाज अदा करने का सवाब 70 गुना हो जाता है। साथ ही इस माह में दोजख (नरक) के दरवाजे भी बंद कर दिए जाते हैं उन्होंने कहा कि इसी महीने में कुरान शरीफ दुनिया में नाजिल (अवतरित) हुआ था  नोमानी ने कहा कि अमूमन 30 दिनों के रमजान माह को तीन अशरों (खंडों) में बांटा गया है। पहला अशरा ‘रहमत’ का है। इसमें अल्लाह अपने बंदों पर रहमत की दौलत लुटाता है। दूसरा अशरा ‘बरकत का है जिसमें खुदा बरकत का है जिसमें खुदा बरकत नाजिल करता है जबकि तीसरा अशरा ‘मगफिरत का है। चारवा अशरे में अल्लाह अपने बंदों को गुनाहों से पाक कर देता है ईशा का हैं  पाचवा असरा अल्लाह अपने बन्दो को दिले सूक्न देता है आजमगढ़ स्थित विश्वविख्यात इस्लामी शोधकार्य संस्थान दारुल मुसन्निफीन के उप प्रमुख मौलाना मुहम्मद उमेर अल सिद्दीक मौजूदा वक्त में रमजान के संदेश की प्रासंगिकता पर रोशनी डालते हुए कहते हैं कि आज का इंसान  बेहद खुदगर्ज हो चुका है लेकिन रोजों में वह ताकत है जो व्यक्ति को समाज के प्रति अपनी जिम्मेदारियों का एहसास कराती है  मौलाना उमेर ने कहा कि रोजे बंदे को आत्मावलोकन का मौका देते हैं। अगर इंसान सिर्फ अपनी कमियों को देखकर उन्हें दूर करने की कोशिश करें तो दुनिया से बुराई खुद-ब-खुद खत्म हो जाएगी। रमजान का छुपा संदेश भी यही है
