जानिए अपनी शक्ति की सीमा

श्रीकृष्ण ने जब शिशुपाल का वध किया तो अर्जुन ने आश्चर्य से पूछा, ‘आपने शिशुपाल को सौ गालियां देने के बाद मारा, आप इस गलत व्यवहार करने वाले को पहले भी मार सकते थे। यह तो सदैव आपका अपमान करता आया था।’

श्रीकृष्ण, अर्जुन की बातों को गंभीरता से सुन रहे थे, उन्होंने कहा, ‘मैं तुम्हारा प्रश्न समझता हूं। आज की तरह ही मैं शिशुपाल का संहार कभी भी कर सकता था, किंतु मेरे सम्मुख सदैव एक प्रश्न रहा है कि क्या बल का धर्म सदैव दंड देना ही है, क्षमा या सहन करना नहीं है?

क्षमा तो बलवान ही कर सकता है, दुर्बल क्या क्षमा करेगा? सहन भी वही करेगा, जिसके पास सहनशक्ति होगी। अशक्त क्या सहन कर सकेगा?

अब तक मैं अपनी इन्हीं शक्तियों की परीक्षा कर रहा था। अपनी ही थाह ले रहा था। कि मुझमें कितनी शक्ति है, वह कितनी मेरी है, क्योंकि शक्ति उतनी ही हमारी होती है, जिस पर हमारा, हमारें संकल्प का अंकुश रह सकता है।

Forgiveness can only be strengthened, what will the weak forgive? The bear will also do the same, who will have stamina. What can the weak be able to bear?

So far I was examining my own strengths. It was taking its own foam. That is how much power I have in me, how much is mine, because power is ours, on which ours, we can remain in control of the resolution.
