ज्ञान वहीं जो व्यवहार में काम आए

ज्ञान ही एक ऐसा तत्त्व है जो कहीं भी , किसी अवस्था और किसी काल में भी मनुष्य का साथ नहीं छोड़ता। मनुष्य की सबसे बड़ी शक्ति ज्ञान है। बिना ज्ञान के व्यक्ति अपने जीवन में सफलता नहीं पा सकता। इसलिए हर व्यक्ति के पास ज्ञान होना ज़रूरी है। बिना ज्ञान के व्यक्ति का जीवन निरर्थक है। दुनिया में कुछ लोग ऐसे भी होते हैं, जो कि किसी भी विषय में अगर थोड़ा सा भी ज्ञान प्राप्त कर लेते हैं तो समझने लगते हैं कि वे दुनिया के सबसे बड़े ज्ञानी व्यक्ति हैं और फिर अपने तुच्छ ज्ञान के बल पर सामने वाले को नीचा दिखाने की कोशिश करते हैं, जबकि वे यह नहीं जानते हैं ज्ञानी व्यक्ति वो नहीं कहलाता है जो कि काफी बातें जानता है, बल्कि वास्तव में ज्ञानी उन्हें माना जाता है जो कि कम मगर काम की बातें जानता है।
सिर्फ एक बार किसी वास्तु के बारे में ज्ञान हासिल कर लेने का मतलब यह नहीं कि व्यक्ति को उससे सम्बंधित पूर्णता जानकारी प्राप्त हो गयी है। बल्कि ज्ञान को समय समय पर सुधरने और बढ़ने कि ज़रूरत होती है।

एक बार कि बात है कि आचार्य बहुश्रुति के पास कई शिष्य रहते थे। उनमें तीन शिष्यों की विदाई का जब अवसर आया, तब आचार्य ने कहा- कल सुबह मेरे निवास पर आना। कल तुम्हारी आखिरी परीक्षा होगी। फिर तुम्हें घर जाने की अनुमति दूंगा।

आचार्य ने रात्रि में कुटिया के मार्ग में कांटे बिखेर दिए। नियत समय पर वो तीनों शिष्य जिन्हें अंतिम परीक्षा देनी थी गुरु के निवास की ओर चल पड़े। मार्ग में कांटे बिछे थे लेकिन शिष्य भी कच्चे न थे। कांटे है तो क्या हुआ? गुरु के द्वार पर जाना ही है। ऐसा सोचकर पहला शिष्य कांटे चुभ रहे थे फिर भी कुटिया कर पहुंच गया और कुटिया के बाहर बैठ गया। दूसरा शिष्य कांटो से बचकर निकल आया फिर भी एकाध कांटा जो चुभ गया उसको शांति से बैठकर निकालने लगा।

तीसरे शिष्य ने आकर देखा तो उसने झाडू ली। पहले बड़े-बड़े कांटो की डाली को दूर फेंक आया फिर झाडू से कांटे बुहारकर मार्ग को साफ सुथरा कर दिया। आचार्य कुटिया से ही तीनों की गतिविधियां देख रहे थे। जिसने कांटे हटाकर मार्ग को साफ-सुथरा कर दिया था वो शिष्य जब कुटिया के अंदर आया तो आचार्य ने कहा- वत्स तुम्हारी पढ़ाई पूरी हो गई। तुम मेरी परीक्षा में पास हो गए। ज्ञान वहीं है जो व्यवहार में काम आए। तुम्हारा ज्ञान व्यवहारिक हो गया है। तुम उत्तीर्ण हो गए।

कहने का अर्थ है कि ज्ञान प्राप्ति का मतलब केवल पढ़कर रटना नहीं बल्कि उसे व्यवहार में लाना है। जो ज्ञान को व्यवहार में लाता है उसी का ज्ञान पाना सार्थक होता है।

Knowledge is the only element that does not leave a human being anywhere, at any stage and at any time. The greatest power of man is knowledge. Without knowledge, a person cannot succeed in his life. Therefore, every person must have knowledge. A person’s life is meaningless without knowledge. There are also some people in the world who, if they gain even a little knowledge in any subject, begin to understand that they are the greatest learned person in the world and then on the basis of their insignificant knowledge, let the front man down While they do not know, a knowledgeable person is not called one who knows a lot of things, but in fact, they are considered to be knowledgeable people who know little but useful things.
Just acquiring knowledge about a Vastu once does not mean that the person has received the complete information related to it. Rather, knowledge needs to improve and grow from time to time.

Once it is said that Acharya Bahushruti used to have many disciples. When the opportunity came to bid farewell to the three disciples, Acharya said – come to my residence tomorrow morning. Tomorrow will be your last exam. Then I will allow you to go home.

Acharya scattered thorns in the path of the hut at night. At the appointed time, the three disciples who had to take the final examination walked towards the Guru’s residence. Thorns were laid on the road, but the disciples were not raw. What happened if there are thorns? Have to go to the Guru’s door. Thinking like this, the first disciples were pricking thorns, yet reached the hut and sat outside the hut. The second disciple escaped from the thorn and came out, yet a few thorns who were pierced started to take him out in peace.

When the third disciple came and saw, he took the broom. First, the thorns of big thorns were thrown away, and after sweeping the thorns from the broom, the route was cleaned. Acharya was watching the activities of the three from the hut itself. The disciple who had cleaned the route by removing the thorns, when the disciple came inside the hut, Acharya said – Watts your studies have been completed. You passed my exam. Knowledge is what is useful in practice. Your knowledge has become practical. You have passed.

To say that to attain enlightenment is not merely to read and cram, but to put it into practice. It is worthwhile to get knowledge of the one who puts knowledge into practice.
