मौत की भी मौत

जो भगवान् के भक्त होते हैं , उनके स्वमी भी भगवान् ही होते हैं । उनपर मौत का अधिकार नहीं होता । अन्यथा चेष्टा करने से मौत की भी मौत हो जाती है । एक बार गोदावरी नदी के तट पर ‘श्वेत’ नाम के एक ब्राह्मण रहते थे । उनका सारा समय सदाशिव की पूजा में व्यतीत होता था । वे अतिथियों का बहुत आदर सत्कार करते थे। उन्हें शिव समझकर उनका आदर – सत्कार करते थे । बाकी समय भगवान के ध्यान में बीताते । उन ब्राह्मण की आयु पूरी हो चुकी थी, परन्तु उनको इस बात का ज्ञान नहीं था । उनको कोई भी रोग और शोक नहीं था ,इसलिए उनको अपनी आयु पूरी होने का आभास भी नहीं हुआ। वह शिव में ही ध्यान लगाए रहते थे । इसलिए जब यमदूत उन्हें लेने आये तोह वे उनके घर में प्रवेश नहीं कर पाए । चित्रगुप्त ने मृत्यु को बुलाकर उससे पुछा की – मृत्युदेव ! श्वेत अबतक यहां क्यों नहीं आया ? तुम्हारे दूत भी अब तक नहीं आएं । यह सुनकर मृत्यु को बहुत क्रोध आया । अब वह खुद उनको लेने श्वेत के घर गए । गृह के द्वार पर यमदूत भय से कांप रहे थे । उन्होंने मृत्यु से कहा , हम कुछ भी नहीं कर पा रहे हैं। क्योंकि श्वेत भगवन शिव की सुरक्षा में है । इसलिए हम उन्हें छु भी नहीं पा रहे हैं। उसके पास पहुंचना तो नामुमकिन है । दूतों की बात सुनकर मौत और भी क्रोध आया और वह झट ब्राह्मण के घर में प्रवेश कर गए । परन्तु ब्राह्मण देव को तोह कुछ भी नहीं पता था की उसके आस पास क्या हो रहा है ? जैसे ही मृत्युदेव श्वेत पर झपटे तोह भैरव बाबा ने कहा – मृत्युदेव ! आप यहाँ से लोट जाओ । परन्तु मृत्युदेव ने उनकी बात नहीं मानी और श्वेत पर फंदा दाल दिया । भैरव बाबा को यह सहन न हुआ । उन्होंने मृतुय पर प्रहार किया । मृत्युदेव वहीं ठंड हो गए । यमदूत वहां से भागकर यमराज के पास गए । वे डर के मारे कांप रहे थे । जब यमराज ने मृत्यु की मृत्यु सुनी तोह उनको बहुत क्रोध आया और अपने हाथ में यमदण्ड लेकर अपने दूतों के साथ श्वेत के घर पहुंचे । वहां पर पहले से ही भगवन शिव के दूत श्वेत की सुरक्षा के लिए खड़े हुए थे । कार्तिकेय ने अपने शक्ति अस्तर से यमराज और उसकी सेना को भी मार दिया । यह समाचार सुनते ही भगवान् सूर्य देव और ब्रह्मा जी के साथ श्वेत के घर पहुंचे । सब देवताओं ने भगवान शंकर की स्तुति करके कहा – भगवान ! यमराज सूर्य देव के पुत्र हैं ।इन्होने कोई भी अपराध नहीं किया है , अत: इनका वध नहीं करना चाहिए । आप कृपया इन सबको जीवित करदो। नहीं तो अव्यवस्था हो जायगी । भगवन ! आप से की हुई प्रार्थना कभी व्यर्थ नहीं होती । भगवान आशुतोष ने कहा – मैं भी व्यवस्था ही चाहता हूँ । परन्तु वेद की भी एक व्यवस्था है कि जो मेरे और भगवान विष्णु के भक्त हैं, उनके स्वामी स्वयं हम लोग होते हैं । मृत्यु उनको छु भी नहीं सकती । यमराज के लिए यह वयवस्था की गयी है कि वह हमारे भक्तों को आदर के साथ प्रणाम करें । इसके बाद भगवान आशुतोष ने गौतमी गंगा (गोदावरी) का जल अपने हाथ में लेकर मरे हुए लोगों पर छिड़क दिया और उसी समय सब के सब जीवित होकर खड़े हो गए।

Once on the banks of the river Godavari, a Brahmin named Shwet lived. All his time was spent in the worship of Sadasiva. He was very respectful to the guests. They considered him as Shiva and respected him. The rest of the time was spent in meditation of God. The age of those Brahmins was over, but they did not know this. He did not have any disease and grief, so he did not even feel that he would complete his life. He used to meditate in Shiva only. So when the Yamdoots came to take them, they could not enter their house. Chitragupta called for death and asked him – Death God! Why hasn’t White come here yet? Even your messengers have not come yet. Hearing this, death was very angry. Now he himself went to White’s house to pick them up. At the entrance of the house, the Yamdoots were trembling with fear. He said to death, we are not able to do anything. Because the white god is under the protection of Shiva. That’s why we can’t even touch them. It is impossible to reach him. Hearing of the messengers, death became even more angry and he immediately entered the Brahmin’s house. But the Brahmin god did not know what was happening around him? As soon as death god swooped on white, Toh Bhairav ​​Baba said – Death God! You go from here But the death god did not listen to them and put the noose on the white. Bhairav ​​Baba could not bear it. He attacked the dead. Mrityudev got cold right there. The Yamdoots ran away from there and went to Yamraj. They were shivering in fear. When Yamraj heard the death of death, he was very angry and took Yamadand in his hand and reached the white house with his messengers. Already there, the messengers of Lord Shiva stood up for the protection of the white. Karthikeya also killed Yamraj and his army with his power lining. On hearing this news, Lord along with Sun God and Brahma Ji reached White’s house. All the gods praised Lord Shankar and said – God! Yamaraja is the son of Sun God. He has not committed any crime, so he should not be killed. Please make them all live. Otherwise, there will be chaos. God ! Prayer to you is never in vain. Lord Ashutosh said – I also want the system. But Vedas also have a system that we are the people who are devotees of me and Lord Vishnu, their masters. Death cannot even touch them. It has been arranged for Yamraj to pay respects to our devotees. After this, Lord Ashutosh took the water of Gautami Ganga (Godavari) in his hand and sprinkled it on the dead people and at the same time all of them stood alive.
