मुल्ला नसरुद्दीन

एक दिन मुल्ला नसरुद्दीन अपने गधे को घर की छत पर ले गए जब नीचे उतारने लगे तो गधा नीचे उतर ही नहीं रहा था ।
बहुत कोशिश के बाद भी जब नाकाम हुए तो ख़ुद ही नीचे उतर गए और गधे के नीचे उतरने का इंतज़ार करने लगे ।
कुछ देर गुज़र जाने के बाद मुल्ला नसरुद्दीन ने महसूस किया कि गधा छत को लातों से तोड़ने को कोशिश कर रहा है मुल्ला नसरुद्दीन बहुत परेशान हुए कि छत तो नाज़ुक है इतनी मज़बूत नहीं कि गधे की लातों को बर्दाश्त कर सके दोबारा ऊपर भागे और गधे को नीचे लाने की कोशिश की लेकिन गधा अपनी ज़िद पर अटका हुआ था और छत को तोड़ने में लगा हुआ था ।
मुल्ला आख़िरी कोशिश करते हुए उसे धक्के देकर नीचे लाने की कोशिश करते रहे गधे ने मुल्ला को लात मारी और वह नीचे गिर गए। गधा फिर छत को तोड़ने लगा आख़िरकार छत टूट गयी और गधे समेत ज़मीन पर आ गिरी ।
मुल्ला काफी देर तक इस वाक़ये पर ग़ौर करते रहे और फिर ख़ुद से कहा कि कभी भी गधे को ऊँचे मकाम पर नहीं ले जाना चाहिये एक तो वह ख़ुद का नुकसान करता है, दूसरा ख़ुद उस जगह को भी ख़राब करता है और तीसरा ऊपर ले जाने वाले को भी नुक़सान पहुँचाता है ।

English Translation

One day Mulla Nasruddin took his donkey to the roof of the house and when he started to come down, the donkey was not getting down.
Even after a lot of effort, when they failed, they came down on their own and started waiting for the donkey to come down.
After a while, Mulla Nasruddin realized that the donkey was trying to smash the roof with sticks, Mulla Nasruddin was very upset that the roof was so delicate that he could not bear the donkey’s rams again and ran up the donkey. Tried to bring it down but the donkey was stuck on its stubbornness and was trying to break the roof.
Mullah, trying his best to knock him down, tried to bring him down, and the ass kicked Mulla and he fell down. The donkey then started breaking the roof, finally the roof broke and fell on the ground with the donkey.
Mulla kept on observing this sentence for a long time and then told himself that the donkey should never be taken to a high place, one does damage itself, the other itself spoils that place and the third one is taken up He also hurts the one.
