यहां कुछ भूरे हैं कुछ काले हैं
सब हमने आस्तीन में पाले है।
दूसरों में तब्दीली चाहते थे हम
अब खुद हम बदलने वाले है।

नजरें नीची कर चलते थे वो
समझा हमने वो भोले-भाले हैं।
ये आज तक जान नहीं पाते हम
वो हमारा ही शिकार करने वाले है।

उसने तो दिखा दी थी कई बार औकात
जीवन तू ही समझता रहा इसे सौगात
आप भी बचाकर रखना हमेशा आस्तीन
नहीं तो रह जाओगे जीवनभर बजाते बीन

शीर्षक : धोखा
झूठ के बाजार में तू सच ढूंढने चला था,
पहले भी जानता था कि वो क्या बला था।
उसको कैसे गलत ठहराएगा ऐ जीवन,
उसने तो इशारा किया तू ही दौड़ चला था।
जो अपने संगी-साथियों का न हुआ आज तक,
नहीं जानता था तू कि वो क्या जलजला था
अब भी शुक्र मना तू उसकी शराफत का
वक्त सही था, तुझे नाज था अपनी कला का

शीर्षक : झूठ

झूठ हो गया आम साथियों
सत्य आज अपवाद हो गया
सच्चाई पर चलने वाला ही
लुट गया और बर्बाद हो गया
वो तो खा गए मुर्ग मुसल्लम
अपने लिए सब अवसाद हो गया
खता तो अपनी ही निकली सब
क्या हुआ वो इस्लामाबाद हो गया
मन में मत शिकन रख ए ‘जीवन’
वो मुर्दा ही था जो मुर्दाबाद हो गया
