हनुमान जी और गोवर्धन का संबन्ध

It is known by all that that in order to save the Gokul dwellers from the wrath of Indra, Shri Krishna lifted Gowardhan on his little finger. But very few people know that there is another reason behind this.

As we all know that Govardhan Parvat is also known as Giriraj Maharaj and has been considered as the form of Lord Krishna. One of the reasons for this is that Lord Shri Krishna had spoken about his worship in the form of Govardhan on Kartik Shukla Pratipada Tithi. This incident happened when Shri Krishna lifted Govardhan on his little finger to save Gokul residents from Indra’s wrath.

But very few people know that Hanuman was also behind this incident. In fact, when Lord Shri Rama incarnated in Tretayuga, he was exiled for fourteen years. During that fourteen years of exile, Ravana also killed Mother Sita. And took them with him to Lanka. Now because Sri Rama had to go to Lanka to save Mother Sita from the captivity of Ravana. And to go to Lanka, he had to cross the huge sea that was lying on the way. But to jump over it, he had to build a huge bridge first.
For which Lord Shri Rama resorted to the army of monkeys. The army of monkeys built a huge bridge under the leadership of Lord Rama under that huge sea. And of course, that bridge required many stones.

So that’s why Lord Shree Hanuman ji went to the Himalayas and lifted a mountain from there and walked towards the sea. On the way, it was found that the bridge has been constructed, then Hanuman Ji placed the mountain on the ground there. The mountain said that I neither used to work for Rama nor could live in my place. Understanding the mood of the mountain, Hanuman Ji said that when Lord Rama incarnated as Shri Krishna in Dwapar, at that time, he will lift you up on his finger and make him famous as a deity. In this way Hanuman ji chose to make Govardhan a deity.
