साक्षात् माँ स्वरूपा

स्वामी कृष्ण परमहंस का मूल मंत्र था, ‘प्रत्येक प्राणी में आत्मा स्वरूप भगवान् विद्यमान हैं। यदि किसी प्राणी की सेवा करोगे , तो समझ लो कि साक्षात् परमात्मा की सेवा का पुण्य स्वतः प्राप्त हो रहा है। यदि किसी को दुःख पहुँचाओगे, तो ईश्वर के प्रकोप को सहन करना ही पड़ेगा।

स्वामी रामकृष्ण प्रत्येक पुरुष में भगवान् के दर्शन करते थे और प्रत्येक महिला में माँ काली की अनुभूति। उन दिनों बाल विवाह की प्रथा थी। स्वामी रामकृष्ण का विवाह भी 1860 में छह वर्षीया शारदा देवी के साथकर दिया गया।

कुछ वर्ष बाद उन्हें उनकी ससुराल भेजा गया। पत्नी को देखते ही परमहंस को जगदंबा के दर्शन हुए। उनके मुख से सहज ही निकला, ‘हे सर्वशक्तिमान त्रिपुर सुंदरी,

तुम-साक्षात् शारदा हो, सरस्वती हो। गरीबों और असहायों की सेवा-कल्याण का साधन बनकर अपना तथा मेरा जीवन सफल बनाने का संकल्प लो।’

शारदा देवी पति के शब्द सुनकर अभिभूत हो उठीं और उन्होंने उसी दिन अपना सर्वस्व सेवा-परोपकार के लिए समर्पित करने का संकल्प ले लिया।

स्वामी अचलानंदजी ने श्री शारदा देवी सुप्रभातम् में लिखा है, ‘माँ शारदा ने जीवों के दुःख से दुःखित होकर अपना जीवन प्राणियों की सेवा-सहायता में लगाया। असंख्य भक्त उनका दर्शन कर जीवन में अनूठी शांति प्राप्त करते हैं।’

शारदा माँ ने अपने अंतिम प्रवचन में कहा था, ‘यदि स्वयं शांति चाहते हो, तो दूसरों को सुख-शांति दो। न किसी का दोष देखो और न ही किसी की निंदा करो।’ रामकृष्ण परमहंस की तरह वे भी हर क्षण काली माँ के ध्यान में मग्न रहती थीं।

English Translation

The original mantra of Swami Krishna Paramahansa was, ‘God is present in every living being as a soul. If you serve any living being, then understand that the virtue of serving God is being automatically received. If you hurt someone, then you will have to bear the wrath of God.

Swami Ramakrishna used to see the Lord in every man and the feeling of Mother Kali in every woman. Child marriage was a practice in those days. Swami Ramakrishna was also married in 1860 to six-year-old Sharada Devi.

A few years later he was sent to his in-laws’ house. On seeing his wife, Paramahansa had a vision of Jagadamba. From his mouth came out spontaneously, ‘O Almighty Tripura Sundari,

You are the real Sarada, you are Saraswati. Take a pledge to make your life and my life successful by becoming a means of welfare and service to the poor and helpless.

Sharda Devi was overwhelmed to hear her husband’s words and took a vow on the same day to dedicate her entire life to the cause of philanthropy.

Swami Achalanandji has written in Shri Sharada Devi Suprabhatam, ‘Mother Sharada, being saddened by the suffering of the living beings, devoted her life to the service and help of the living beings. Innumerable devotees get unparalleled peace in life by having darshan of him.

Sharda Ma had said in her last discourse, ‘If you want peace yourself, give happiness and peace to others. Do not look at anyone’s faults or condemn anyone.
