झूठे हैं ये रिश्ते

एक बार इटली के संत फ्रांसिस के पास एक युवक सत्संग सुनने के लिए आया। संत ने उससे हाल-चाल पूछा, तो उसने स्वयं को अत्यंत सुखी बताया। वह बोला, ‘मुझे अपने परिवार के सभी सदस्यों पर बड़ा गर्व है। मैं उनके व्यवहार से संतुष्ठ हूं।’

संत बोले, ‘तुम्हें अपने परिवार के बेर में ऐसी धारणा नहीं बनानी चाहिए। इस दुनिया में अपना कोई नहीं होता। जहां तक माता-पिता की सेवा और पत्नी-बच्चों के पालन-पोषण का संबंध है, उसे तो कर्तव्य समझकर ही करना चाहिए। उनके प्रति मोह या आसक्ति रखना उचित नहीं।’

युवक को संत की बात ठीक नहीं लगी। उसने कहा, ‘आपको विश्वास नहीं कि मेरे परिवार के लोग मुझसे अत्यधिक स्नेह करते हैं। यदि मैं एक दिन घर न जाऊं, तो उनकी भूख-प्यास, नींद सब उड़ जाती है और पत्नी तो मेरे बिना जीवित भी नहीं रह सकती है।’

संत बोले ‘तुम्हें प्राणायाम तो आता ही है। कल सुबह उठने के बजाए प्राणवायु मस्तक में खींचकर निश्चेत पड़े रहना। मैं आकर सब कुछ देख लूंगा।’ दूसरे दिन युवक ने जैसा संत ने बताय था वैसा ही किया। युवक को मृत जानकर उसके सभी घर के लोग विलाप करने लगे। तभी संत फ्रांसिस वहां पहुंचे।

घर के सभी सदस्य संत के चरणों में गिर गए। संत बोले, ‘आप चिंता मत करें मैं मंत्र से प्रयत्न कर इसे जिंदा कर देता हूं। लेकिन कटोरी भर पानी परिवार के किसी अन्‍य सदस्‍य को पीना पड़ेगा। उस पानी में ऐसी शक्ति है कि यह तो जीवित हो उठेंगे, लेकिन उस पानी को पीने वाला मर जाएगा।’

यह सुनने के बाद घर के सभी सदस्‍य एक दूसरे का मुंह देखने लगे। किसी को भी पानी पीने के लिए तैयार होता न देखकर संत ने कहा कि मैं ही इस पानी को पी लेता हूं। इस पर घर के सभी सदस्य बोले कि ‘आप धन्य हैं। आप जैसे परोपकारी लोग बहुत कम पैदा होते हैं।’

युवक इस पूरे घटनाक्रम को चुपचाप सुन रहा था। उसे संत की बातों पर विश्वास हो गया। प्राणायाम कर वह उठ गया। यह देखकर घर के सभी सदस्य चौंक गए। युवक संत से बोला कि आपने मुझे नया जीवन दिया है।

Once came to listen to a young satsang near Saint Francis of Italy. The saint asked him very tricks, so he described himself as very happy. He said, ‘I am very proud of all the members of my family. I am satisfied with their behavior. ‘

The saint said, ‘You should not make such a notion in your family’s plum. There is no one in this world. As far as parental service and parenting are concerned, it should be done only as a duty. It is not fair to have an attachment or attachment towards them. ‘

The young man did not care about the saint’s point. She said, ‘You do not believe that people of my family are very much affectionate to me. If I do not go home one day, then their hunger, thirst, sleep everywhere and the wife can not live without me. ‘

The saint said, ‘You have come to pranayama only. Instead of getting up early in the morning, dragging in an exhalation head and keeping in mind. I will come and see everything. ‘ On the second day the young man did the same as the saint had told him. Knowing the young man dead, the people of his house started moaning. Then Saint Francis arrived there.

All the members of the house fell into the feet of the saint. The saint said, ‘Do not worry, I try it with a mantra and make it alive. But any other member of the family will drink a bowl full of bowl. There is such power in that water that it will rise, but the person drinking that water will die. ‘

After hearing this, all the members of the house started looking at each other’s faces. Not seeing anyone would be ready to drink water, the saint said that I only drink this water. On this all the members of the house said, ‘You are blessed. Humane people like you are born very little. ‘

The young man was listening quietly to this whole incident. He believed in the saint’s things. He got up to do pranayama. Seeing this, all the members of the house were shocked. The youth told the saint that you gave me a new life.
