ईमानदारी की जीत

चारों ओर सुंदर वन में उदासी छाई हुई थी। वन को अज्ञात बीमारी ने घेर लिया था। वन के लगभग सभी जानवर इस बीमारी के कारण अपने परिवार का कोई न कोई सदस्य गवाँ चुके थे। बीमारी से मुकाबला करने के लिए सुंदर वन के राजा शेर सिंह ने एक बैठक बुलाई।

बैठक का नेतृत्व खुद शेर सिंह ने किया। बैठक में गज्जू हाथी, लंबू जिराफ, अकड़ू सांप, चिंपू बंदर, गिलू गिलहरी, कीनू खरगोश सहित सभी जंगलवासियों ने हिस्सा लिया। जब सभी जानवर इकठ्ठे हो गए, तो शेर सिंह एक ऊँचे पत्थर पर बैठ गया और जंगलवासियों को संबोधित करते हुए कहने लगा, “भाइयो, वन में बीमारी फैलने के कारण हम अपने कई साथियों को गवाँ चुके हैं। इसलिए हमें इस बीमारी से बचने के लिए वन में एक अस्पताल खोलना चाहिए, ताकि जंगल में ही बीमार जानवरों का इलाज किया जा सके।’

इस पर जंगलवासियों ने एतराज जताते हुए पूछा कि अस्पताल के लिए पैसा कहाँ से आएगा और अस्पताल में काम करने के लिए डॉक्टरों की जरूरत भी तो पड़ेगी? इस पर शेर सिंह ने कहा, यह पैसा हम सभी मिलकर इकठ्ठा करेंगे।

यह सुनकर कीनू खरगोश खड़ा हो गया और बोला, “महाराज! मेरे दो मित्र चंपकवन के अस्पताल में डॉक्टर हैं। मैं उन्हें अपने अस्पताल में ले आऊँगा।’

इस फैसले का सभी जंगलवासियों ने समर्थन किया। अगले दिन से ही गज्जू हाथी व लंबू जिराफ ने अस्पताल के लिए पैसा इकठ्ठा करना शुरू कर दिया।

जंगलवासियों की मेहनत रंग लाई और जल्दी ही वन में अस्पताल बन गया। कीनू खरगोश ने अपने दोनों डॉक्टर मित्रों वीनू खरगोश और चीनू खरगोश को अपने अस्पताल में बुला लिया।

राजा शेर सिंह ने तय किया कि अस्पताल का आधा खर्च वे स्वयं वहन करेंगे और आधा जंगलवासियों से इकठ्ठा किया जाएगा।

इस प्रकार वन में अस्पताल चलने लगा। धीरे-धीरे वन में फैली बीमारी पर काबू पा लिया गया। दोनों डॉक्टर अस्पताल में आने वाले मरीजों की पूरी सेवा करते और मरीज़ भी ठीक हो कर डाक्टरों को दुआएँ देते हुए जाते। कुछ समय तक सब कुछ ठीक ठाक चलता रहा। परंतु कुछ समय के बाद चीनू खरगोश के मन में लालच बढ़ने लगा। उसने वीनू खरगोश को अपने पास बुलाया और कहने लगा यदि वे दोनों मिल कर अस्पताल की दवाइयाँ दूसरे वन में बेचें तथा रात में जाकर दूसरे वन के मरीज़ों को देखें तो अच्छी कमाई कर सकते हें और इस बात का किसी को पता भी नहीं लगेगा।

वीनू खरगोश पूरी तरह से ईमानदार था, इसलिए उसे चीनू का प्रस्ताव पसंद नहीं आया और उसने चीनू को भी ऐसा न करने का सुझाव दिया। लेकिन चीनू कब मानने वाला था। उसके ऊपर तो लालच का भूत सवार था। उसने वीनू के सामने तो ईमानदारी से काम करने का नाटक किया। परंतु चोरी-छिपे बेइमानी पर उतर आया। वह जंगलवासियों की मेहनत से खरीदी गई दवाइयों को दूसरे जंगल में ले जाकर बेचने लगा तथा शाम को वहाँ के मरीजों का इलाज करके कमाई करने लगा।

धीरे-धीरे उसका लालच बढ़ता गया। अब वह अस्पताल के कम, दूसरे वन के मरीजों को ज्यादा देखता। इसके विपरीत, डॉक्टर वीनू अधिक ईमानदारी से काम करता। मरीज भी चीनू की अपेक्षा डॉक्टर वीनू के पास जाना अधिक पसंद करते। एक दिन सभी जानवर मिलकर राजा शेर सिंह के पास चीनू की शिकायत लेकर पहुँचे। उन्होंने चीनू खरगोश की कारगुजारियों से राजा को अवगत कराया और उसे दंड देने की माँग की। शेर सिंह ने उनकी बात ध्यान से सुनी और कहा कि सच्चाई अपनी आँखों से देखे बिना वे कोई निर्णय नहीं लेंगे। इसलिए वे पहले चीनू डॉक्टर की जांच कराएँगे, फिर अपना निर्णय देंगे। जांच का काम चालाक लोमड़ी को सौंपा गया, क्योंकि चीनू खरगोश लोमड़ी को नहीं जानता था।

लोमड़ी अगले ही दिन से चीनू के ऊपर नजर रखने लगी। कुछ दिन उस पर नज़र रखने के बाद लोमड़ी ने उसे रंगे हाथों पकड़ने की योजना बनाई। उसने इस योजना की सूचना शेर सिंह को भी दी, ताकि वे समय पर पहुँच कर सच्चाई अपनी आँखों से देख सकें। लोमड़ी डॉक्टर चीनू के कमरे में गई और कहा कि वह पास के जंगल से आई है। वहाँ के राजा काफी बीमार हैं, यदि वे तुम्हारी दवाई से ठीक हो गए, तो तुम्हें मालामाल कर देंगे। यह सुनकर चीनू को लालच आ गया। उसने अपना सारा सामान समेटा और लोमड़ी के साथ दूसरे वन के राजा को देखने के लिए चल पड़ा। शेर सिंह जो पास ही छिपकर सारी बातें सुन रहा था, दौड़कर दूसरे जंगल में घुस गया और निर्धारित स्थान पर जाकर लेट गया।

थोड़ी देर बाद लोमड़ी डॉक्टर चीनू को लेकर वहाँ पहुँची, जहाँ शेर सिंह मुँह ढँककर सो रहा था। जैसे ही चीनू ने राजा के मुँह से हाथ हटाया, वह शेर सिंह को वहाँ पाकर सकपका गया और डर से काँपने लगा। उसके हाथ से सारा सामान छूट गया, क्योंकि उसकी बेइमानी का सारा भेद खुल चुका था। तब तक सभी जानवर वहाँ आ गए थे। चीनू खरगोश हाथ जोड़कर अपनी कारगुजारियों की माफी माँगने लगा।

राजा शेर सिंह ने आदेश दिया कि चीनू की बेइमानी से कमाई हुई सारी संपत्ति अस्पताल में मिला ली जाए और उसे धक्के मारकर जंगल से बाहर निकाल दिया जाए। शेर सिंह के आदेशानुसार चीनू खरगोश को धक्के मारकर जंगल से बाहर निकाल दिया गया। इस कार्रवाई को देखकर जंगलवासियों ने जान लिया कि ईमानदारी की हमेशा जीत होती है।

There was sadness in the beautiful forest around. The forest was surrounded by an unknown disease. Almost all the animals of the forest had lost some of their family members due to this disease. To counter the disease, King Sher Singh of the beautiful forest convenes a meeting.

The meeting was led by Sher Singh himself. In the meeting, all the forest dwellers, including Gajjah Hathi, Lamba Giraffe, Akadu Snake, Chimpu Monkey, Gilu Gilhir, Kinnu Rabbis, took part. When all the animals were gathered, Sher Singh sat on a tall rock and addressed the forest dwellers and said, “Brothers, due to the spread of disease in the forest, we have lost many of our companions, so to avoid this disease One should open a hospital in the forest so that the sick animals can be treated in the forest itself. ‘

On this, the forest dwellers protested and asked where would the money for the hospital come from and the doctors would also need to work in the hospital? On this Sher Singh said, “We will all collect this money together.”

Hearing this, a ravenous rabbit stood up and said, “Maharaj! My two friends are a doctor in Champakvan’s hospital, and I will bring them to my hospital.”

This decision was supported by all the wildlife. From the very next day, Gajjah Hathi and Paramu Giraffe started collecting money for the hospital.

The hard work of forest dwellers brought color and soon became a hospital in the forest. The Kinnu rabbit invited both his doctor friends, Venu Rabbash and Chinu Rabbit to his hospital.

King Sher Singh decided that he would bear half of the hospital expenses and will be collected from half the forest dwellers.

Thus the hospital started walking in the forest. Gradually the disease spread in the forest has been overcome. Both doctors serve the patients coming to the hospital and the patients were also cured and giving thanks to the doctors. For a while, everything went smoothly. But after some time the greed in the mind of Chinu rabbit started to grow. He called the vinu rabbit to him and said that if both of them meet together to sell the hospital’s medicines in the second one and go to the night to see the patients of the other forest, they can earn good and nobody will know about this.

Venu Rabbit was completely honest, so he did not like Chinu’s proposal and suggested that he should not do the same to Chinu. But when Chinu was about to believe. Above him, the ghost of Greed was the rider. He pretended to work honestly in front of Venu. But theft came down on the dishonest dishonesty. He started selling medicines purchased by the hard work of the forest dwellers and started earning by treating the patients there in the evening.

Gradually his greed grew slowly. Now he sees more of the hospital’s lower, second-hand patients. On the contrary, Doctor Venus works more honestly. The patient also likes to go to doctor Veenu than Chinu. One day all the animals came together with Raja Sher Singh to complain about Chiniu. He conveyed to the king the actions of the Chinu Rabbit and demanded that punishment be given to him. Sher Singh listened carefully to them and said that they will not make any decision without seeing the truth with their eyes. So he will first check the chiru doctor, then give his decision. The task of the investigation was handed over to the cunning fox, because Chinu did not know the rabbit fox.

The fox began to look after Chinu from the very next day. After tracking it for a few days, the fox planned to catch it with a dyed hand. He also informed Sher Singh to this plan so that he could see the truth with his own eyes on time. The fox went to the doctor’s room and said that he came from the nearby forest. The king of that city is very sick, if they are cured of your medicine, then you will be able to do it. Hearing this, Chinu came to greed. He pulled off all his belongings and walked with the fox to see the King of the other forest. Sher Singh, who was listening to all the things secretly, ran and entered the other forest and went to the fixed place and lay down.

After a while the fox arrived there with the doctor Chiniu, where Sher Singh was asleep while covering his face. As soon as Chinu removed his hand from the king’s mouth, he found Lion Singh there and got trembling with fear. With his hand all the goods were released because all the distinctions of his dishonesty were opened. By then all the animals had come there. Chinu started to apologize for his actions by adding rabbit hands.

King Sher Singh ordered that all the wealth earned by the dishonesty of Chinu should be mixed in the hospital and be thrown out of the jungle by hurling him. As per the order of Sher Singh, the Chinu rabbit was thrown out and thrown out of the woods. Seeing this action the forest dwellers realized that honesty always wins.
