जब फरिश्ता ने दिया खलीफा उमर को दिव्य संदेश

एक बार खलीफा उमर अपने धर्मस्थान पर बैठे थे कि उन्हें स्वर्ग की ओर उड़ता हुआ एक फरिश्ता दिखाई दिया। उसके कन्धे पर एक बड़ी सी पुस्तक थी। खलीफा ने उसे बुलाकर पूछा, इस पुस्तक में क्या है ? फरिश्ते ने जबाव दिया, इसमें उन लोगों की सूची है, जो खुदा की इबादत करते हैं।

खलीफा ने वह पुस्तक मांगी और उसमें अपना नाम ढूंढने लगे, लेकिन जब उसमें वह नहीं दिखाई दिया तो उन्हें बड़ा ही दुःख हुआ।

कुछ दिनों बाद वही फरिश्ता एक छोटी सी पुस्तक लिए स्वर्ग की ओर उड़ता दिखाई दिया। जिज्ञासावश खलीफा ने उसे पुनः बुलाया और पूछा, इस पुस्तक में क्या है?

फरिश्ते ने बताया कि इसमें उन लोगों की सूची है, जिनकी इबादत खुद खुदाबन्द करीम करते हैं। जो लोग खुदा के आदेशों का पालन करते हैं, उनके आदेशों के मुताबिक सारा कामकाज करते हैं। खुदा उन्हें इज्जत बख्शता है और उनकी इबादत करता है।

अच्छा, जरा ऐसे लोगों के नाम तो देखें। यह कहकर उन्होंने उत्सुकतावश से पुस्तक का पहला पन्ना पलटा तो उन्हें यह देख आश्चर्य हुआ कि उनका नाम सबसे पहले नम्बर पर था।
