गुडिया की कीमत

एक 6 वर्ष का लडका अपनी 4 वर्ष की छोटी बहन के साथ बाजार से जा रहा था…
अचानक से उसे लगा कि उसकी बहन पीछे रह गयी है।
वह रुका, पीछे मुडकर देखा तो जाना कि, उसकी बहन एक खिलौने के दुकान के सामने खडी कोई चीज निहार रही है।
लडका पीछे आया और बहन से पूछा- “कुछ चाहिये तुम्हे ?”
लडकी ने एक गुड़िया की तरफ उंगली उठाकर इशारा किया …बच्चे ने उसका हाथ पकडा, एक जिम्मेदार बडे भाई की तरह अपनी बहन को वह गुड़िया देने चला…बहन बहुत खुश हो गयी ।
दुकानदार यह सब देख रहा था, बच्चे का व्यवहार देखकर आश्चर्यचकित भी हुआ …. अब वह बच्चा बहन के साथ काउंटर पर आया, और दुकानदार से पूछा-“सर, कितनी कीमत है इस गुड़िया की ?”
दुकानदार एक शांत व्यक्ति था, उसने जीवन के कई उतार चढाव देखे थे। उसने बडे प्यार और अपनत्व से बच्चे से पूछा- “बताओ बेटे, आप क्या दे सकते हो?”
बच्चे ने अपनी जेब से वो सारी सीपें बाहर निकालकर दुकानदार को दी , जो उसने थोडी देर पहले बहन के साथ समुंदर किनारे से चुन चुन कर इकट्ठा की थी…
दुकानदार ने वो सब लेकर यूँ गिनती की, जैसे पैसे गिन रहा हो।
सीपें गिनकर वो बच्चे की तरफ देखने लगा तो बच्चा बोला- “सर कुछ कम है क्या?”
दुकानदार :-” नही नही, ये तो इस गुड़िया की कीमत से ज्यादा है, ज्यादा मै वापिस देता हूं”…
यह कहकर उसने 4 सीपें रख ली और बाकी की बच्चे को वापस दे दी।
बच्चा बडी खुशी से वो सीपें जेब मे रखकर बहन को साथ लेकर चला गया।
यह सब उस दुकान का नौकर देख रहा था, उसने आश्चर्य से मालिक से पुछा- ” मालिक ! इतनी महंगी गुड़िया आपने केवल 4 सीपों के बदले मे दे दी ?”
दुकानदार हंसते हुये बोला.. “हमारे लिये ये केवल सीप है , पर उस 6साल के बच्चे के लिये अतिशय मूल्यवान है।
और अभी इस उम्र मे वो नही जानता कि पैसे क्या होते हैं ?
पर जब वह बडा होगा ना… और जब उसे याद आयेगा कि उसने सीपों के बदले बहन को गुड़िया खरीदकर दी थी,
तब उसे मेरी याद जरुर आयेगी, वह सोचेगा कि… “यह विश्व कुछ अच्छे मनुष्यों की वजह से बचा हुआ है।”
यही बात उसके अंदर सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण बढाने मे मदद करेगी, और वो भी अच्छा इंन्सान बनने के लिये प्रेरित होगा…

A 6 year old boy was going to the market with his 4 year old younger sister.
Suddenly he felt that his sister was left behind.
He stopped, looked back and saw that his sister was standing in front of a toy shop looking at something.
The boy came behind and asked his sister – “Do you want anything?”
The girl pointed to a doll by raising her finger…the child held her hand, like a responsible elder brother went to give the doll to his sister…sister became very happy.
The shopkeeper was watching all this, was also surprised to see the child’s behavior…. Now that child came to the counter with his sister, and asked the shopkeeper – “Sir, how much does this doll cost?”
The shopkeeper was a calm person, he had seen many ups and downs in life. He asked the child with great love and affection – “Tell me son, what can you give?”
The child took out all those shells from his pocket and gave them to the shopkeeper, which he and his sister had collected from the sea shore a while ago…
The shopkeeper took all that and counted it as if counting money.
When he started looking at the child after counting the shells, the child said – “Sir, is there anything less?”
Shopkeeper :-” No no, this is more than the price of this doll, I will return more”…
Saying this he kept 4 shells and gave the rest back to the child.
The child very happily kept those shells in his pocket and took his sister along with him.
The servant of that shop was watching all this, he asked the owner with surprise – “Owner! You gave such an expensive doll in exchange for only 4 shells?”
The shopkeeper laughed and said.. “For us it is just an oyster, but for that 6 year old child it is very valuable.
And now at this age he doesn’t know what is money?
But when he grows up… and when he remembers that he had bought his sister a doll instead of shells,
Then he will definitely remember me, he will think that… “This world is saved because of some good humans.”
This will help in developing a positive attitude in him, and he will also be motivated to become a good human being…
