संत की संवेदनशीलता

इटली के असीसी शहर निवासी संत फ्रांसिस का जन्म 12वीं सदी में हुआ था। वह एक प्रसिद्ध व्यापारी के यहां जन्मे थे। लेकिन फ्रांसिस उदार व्यक्तित्व और संवेदनशील व्यक्ति थे।

एक दिन फ्रांसिस रेशमी वस्त्र की अपनी दुकान पर बैठे एक धनवान ग्राहक से बातचीत कर रहे थे, तभी उन्हें एक भिखारी ने आवाज दी। लेकिन उन्होंने बातचीत के चलते अनदेखा कर दिया। वह भिखारी वहां से चला गया।

जब उनकी बातचीत खत्म हुई तो फ्रांसिस उस भिखारी की खोज-खबर  करने लगे। उनका मन आत्मग्लानि से भर गया। इसके बाद वह उस भिखारी को खोजने के लिए कई गलियों में घूमते रहे।

जब वह भिखारी फ्रांसिस को मिला तो उनकी खुशी का ठिकाना नहीं रहा। उन्होंने कहा, ‘ मैं बातचीत में इतना उलझा हुआ था कि मैं आपके लिए वक्त नहीं दे पाया।’ और फिर फ्रांसिस ने कोट से सारा पैसा निकाल कर उस भिखारी को दे दिया।

आगे चलकर यही फ्रांसिस, संत फ्रांसिस ऑफ असीसी के नाम से विख्यात हुए। इस महापुरुष ने मानव सेवा को साधना के अंग के रूप में प्रतिष्ठित करके संवेदनशीलता की उपयोगिता को नया आयाम दिया।

Saint Francis of the Assisi city of Italy was born in the 12th century. He was born here by a famous businessman. But Francis was a liberal personality and sensitive person.

One day Francis was talking to a wealthy client sitting in a silky garment shop, only then a beggar gave him a voice. But they ignored the talks. The beggar went from there.

When his conversation ended, Francis began to search for that beggar. His mind was filled with self-realization. After this, he kept roaming in many streets to find that beggar.

When he got to beggar Francis, his happiness was nowhere. He said, ‘I was so involved in the conversation that I could not give you time.’ And then Francis removed all the money from the coat and gave it to the beggar.

In the future, this is what Francis is known as Saint Francis of Assisi. This great person has given a new dimension to the usefulness of sensitivity by honoring human service as part of meditation.
