कमजोर यादास्त

एक व्यक्ति अपने जिंदगी में बहुत अमीर बनना चाहता था। और इसकी बजह से वह एक साथ बहुत सारे काम करने लगा। जिसके कारन वह बहुत सारे कामो में उलझ जाता था। और इसकी बजह से धीरे-धीरे उसकी यादास्त कमजोर होने लगी। वह जरुरी बातों को भी भूल जाता था। और धीरे-धीरे उसकी यह भूलने की बीमारी बहुत ज्यादा बढ़ गई। वह हर बात को थोड़ी सी ही देर में भूल जाता था।

एक दिन उसकी तबियत बहुत ज्यादा ख़राब हो गई। उसके पेट में बहुत दर्द होने लगा। पुराने समय की बात है, उस समय डॉक्टर तो होते नहीं थे, बैद्य होते थे। तो वह व्यक्ति बैद्य के पास गया। बैद्य ने व्यक्ति से पूछा, “तुम्हे क्या हुआ है?” वह व्यक्ति कहने लगा, “मेरे पेट में बहुत दर्द है।” तो बैद्य ने उससे सारी बात जानी। फिर बैद्य को पता चला की यह इंसान काम में बहुत ज्यादा उलझा हुआ है। और उल्टा-सीधा कुछ भी खा लेता है। तो उस बैद्य ने उस व्यक्ति से कहा, “तुम्हारे पेट में जो दर्द है वह गलत खान-पान के कारण हुआ है। इसलिए थोड़े दिन के लिए तुम सिर्फ खिचड़ी खाना।” उस व्यक्ति ने कहा, “ठीक है, अब मैं खिचड़ी ही खाऊँगा।”

फिर उस आदमी ने बैद्य से कहा, “मुझे भूलने की भी बीमारी है। कही ऐसा न हो की घर पॅहुचते-पॅहुचते मैं यही भूल जाऊँ की मुझे क्या खाना है।” तो बैद्य ने उसे कहा, “आप बिलकुल भी चिंता मत करो। आप यहाँ से लेकर अपने घर तक खिचड़ी खिचड़ी बोलते जाओ जिससे यह नाम आप भूलेंगे नहीं।” उस व्यक्ति ने कहा, “यह आईडिया सही है। मैं पुरे रास्ते खिचड़ी-खिचड़ी बोलता हुआ जाऊँगा।” अब उसे भूलने की आदत तो था ही। इसलिए अब वह खिचड़ी की जगह खाचड़ी हो गया। वह खाचड़ी-खाचड़ी बोलता जा रहा था।

रास्ते में एक किसान अपने खेत से चिड़ियाओं को भगा रहा था। लेकिन तभी उसने सुना की कोई व्यक्ति यह कह रहा की खाचड़ी-खाचड़ी। उसकी इस बात को सुनकर किसान को बहुत गुस्सा आया। किसान ने उस व्यक्ति को डाटते हुए कहा, “यह तुम क्या कह रहे हो?” उस व्यक्ति ने कहा, “मैं कह रहा हूँ खाचड़ी।” तो उस किसान ने कहा, “क्या तुम्हे जरा भी अकल नहीं है, तुम्हे दिख नहीं रहा की मैं अपने खेत से चिड़ियाओं को भगा रहा हूँ और तुम उन्हें खाने के लिए बुला रहे हो।” तो वह व्यक्ति बोला, “मुझे तो बैद्य ने कहा है।” किसान ने कहा, “किसी ने भी कहा हो लेकिन अब तुम खाचड़ी नहीं बोलोगे।” उस व्यक्ति ने पूछा, “फिर मुझे क्या कहना चाहिए।” तो किसान ने बोला, “अब तुम ऐसा बोलो उड़ छिड़ी, उड़ छिड़ी। इसे सुनकर सारी चिड़िया भाग जाएगी।” उस व्यक्ति ने कहा, “ठीक है।”

अब वह आदमी उड़ छिड़ी, उड़ छिड़ी कहने लगा। वह थोड़ा ही आगे चला था की रास्ते में एक शिकारी चिड़ियाओं को फँसा रहा था। जब उसने यह सुना की वह व्यक्ति उड़ छिड़ी, उड़ छिड़ी कह रहा है तब शिकारी को बहुत गुस्सा आया और उस शिकारी ने व्यक्ति को जोर से थप्पड़ मारी। और उसे डाटने लगा, “यह तुम क्या कह रहे हो?” मैं यहाँ इतनी मुश्क्लि से चिड़ियाओं को फँसा रहा हूँ और तुम कह रहे हो उड़ छिड़ी।” उस व्यक्ति ने कहा, “मैं क्या करूँ? मुझे तो बैद्य ने कहा है।” तो शिकारी ने कहा, “किसी ने भी कहा हो लेकिन अब तुम यह मत कहना।” फिर उस व्यक्ति ने कहा, “तो फिर अब मैं क्या कहूँ?” तो उस शिकारी ने कहा, “अब तुम यह कहो की आते जाओ और पिंजरे में फँसते जाओ।” फिर वह व्यक्ति यही बोलने लगा, “आते जाओ और पिंजरे में फंसते जाओ।”

थोड़ी देर बाद रास्ते में कुछ चोर चोरी का धन लेकर भाग रहे थे। और जब उन्होंने यह सुना की एक व्यक्ति यह कह रहा है आते जाओ और पिंजरे में फँस जाओ।” चोरो ने कहा, “यह हमें फँसाना चाहता है। यह हमें पुलिस को पकड़वाना चाहता है।” उन चोरो ने इस व्यक्ति की बहुत पिटाई की। और कहा, “ख़बरदार दुबारा अगर तुमने यह बात कही तो।” वह व्यक्ति बोला, “फिर मैं क्या कहूं?” तो उन चोरो ने कहा, “अब तुम यह कहना की इसे छोड़कर आओ और दूसरा लेकर आओ।” फिर वह व्यक्ति यही कहने लगा, “इसे छोड़कर आओ और दूसरा लेकर आओ।”

वह व्यक्ति ऐसे कहते हुए जा ही रहा था की रास्ते में कुछ लोग एक मृत व्यक्ति को शमशान ले जा रहे थे। और जब उन्होंने यह सुना की “इसे छोड़कर आओ दूसरा लेकर आओ” यह सुनकर सारे लोगो को बहुत गुस्सा आया ऊपर उन्होंने उस व्यक्ति को बहुत फटकार लगाई। और कहा, “हमारे गांव का मुखिया मर गया है। तुमने मजाक समझकर रखा है क्या? इतना भला आदमी मर गया और तुम यह कह रहे हो की इसे छोड़कर आओ दूसरा लेकर आओ।” तो उस व्यक्ति ने कहा, “तुम ही बताओ मैं क्या कहूं?” तो उन सारे पंचायत के लोगो ने कहा, “अब तुम यह कहना की ऐसा किसी के साथ भी न हो।” अब वह व्यक्ति यही कहने लगा, “ऐसा किसी के साथ भी न हो।”

वह थोड़ा ही आगे चला था की रास्ते में किसी की बारात गुजर रही थी। और जब लोगो ने सुना की ऐसा किसी के साथ भी न हो तो उन लोगों ने उसे सबके सामने डाटा। कुछ लोगों ने तो उसे मारा भी। और कहा, “हमारे घर में शादी का मोहोल है, शादी हो रही है हमारे घर में। एक तो बहुत मुश्किल से हमारा बेटा शादी के लिए तैयार हुआ है और तुम यह मनहूष बातें का रहे हो। तुम्हे शर्म है की नहीं है।” वह व्यक्ति बोला, “मुझे मारते क्यों हो।” तुम ही बताओ मैं क्या कहूं? तो उन बारातियों ने कहा, “अब तुम यही कहना की ऐसे घर-घर में हो।”

अब वह व्यक्ति यही कहने लग की ऐसा घर-घर में हो। अभी वह थोड़ा चला ही था की रास्ते में कही आग ला गई थी। और सब लोग उस घर की आग बुझाने में लगे थे। और जब वहाँ के लोगों ने यह सुना की ऐसा घर-घर में हो यह कौन कह रहा है? जब उन्होंने उस व्यक्ति को देखा तो उसे बहुत मार लगाई। और बोलने लगे, “लगता है तुमने ही यहाँ पर आग लगाई है तभी तू कह रहा है की ऐसा घर-घर में हो। ” वह व्यक्ति बोला, “मैं तो किसी को यहाँ जानता भी नहीं हूँ। मैं कैसे आग लगाऊँगा। मुझे तो बैद्य ने कहा था।” उन लोगो ने कहा, “अब तुम यह बात कभी मत कहना।” तो उस व्यक्ति ने पूछा, “तो आप ही बताइए मैं क्या करूँ।” फिर उसे सारे लोगो ने मिलकात उस व्यक्ति से कहा, “अब तुम यह कहना की हे भगवान इस आग को बुझादे।”

अब वह ऐसा कहते ही जा रहा था। रास्ते में उसे एक कुम्हार मिला जो अग्नि से मिटटी के घड़े बना रह था। और जब उसने यह सुना की कोई व्यक्ति यह कह रहा है की की हे भगवान इस आग को बुझाओ।” तो उस कुम्हार को बहुत गुस्सा आया और उस व्यक्ति को जोर से थप्पड़ मारी। और उससे कहने लगा, ‘ख़बरदार जो यह बात तुमन दुबारा कही। अगर यह बात तुमने दुबारा कही तो मैं तुम्हारी खिचड़ी निकाल दूंगा। और यह खिचड़ी शब्द सुनते ही उस व्यक्ति को सब याद आ गया और कहने लगा, “यही तो वह शब्द है जो मुझे बैद्य ने कहा था। हाँ खिचड़ी यही तो मुझे उस बैद्य ने कहा था।”

फिर वह व्यक्ति मन ही मन सोचने लगा, “मैं सिर्फ एक शब्द को भुला हूँ तो मुझे इतनी मार मिली है की जो लोग जिंदगी को ही जीना भूल गए है, जो लोग खुश रहना भूल गए है, जो लोग हसना भूल गए है, जो लोग जिंदगी के हर जरुरी बात को भूल हो गई है न उन लोगों को कितनी उलझने की, कितनी परेशानी की मार मिलती होगी।

English Translation

A person wanted to become very rich in his life. And because of this, he started doing a lot of work together. Because of which he used to get involved in many things. And with its ringing, gradually its weakening began to weaken. He used to forget important things too. And slowly, his amnesia grew very much. He forgot everything in a short time.

One day his health became very bad. There was a lot of pain in his stomach. It is a matter of old times, at that time there were no doctors, they were Baidya. So that person went to Baidya. Baidya asked the person, “What happened to you?” The man said, “I have a lot of stomach ache.” So Baidya knew everything from him. Then Baidya came to know that this person is very much involved in work. And upside-down eats anything. So the Baidya said to that person, “The pain in your stomach is due to wrong eating. So you just eat khichdi for a few days. ” The man said, “Okay, now I will eat khichdi.”

Then the man said to Baidya, “I also have a disease to forget. May it not be so that while reaching home, I forget what I have to eat. ” So Baidya said to him, “Don’t you worry at all. From here to your home, you can speak Khichdi Khichdi so that you will not forget this name. ” The man said, “This idea is true. I will go all the way speaking slang. ” Now he had a habit of forgetting it. So now he becomes khichdi instead of khichdi. He was going to speak Khachadi-Khachadi.

On the way, a farmer was driving away the birds from his farm. But then he heard that some person was saying that khichdi-khichdi. On hearing this, the farmer got very angry. The farmer said to the person, “What are you saying?” The man said, “I’m saying khichdi.” So the farmer said, “Don’t you have any sense, you don’t see that I am driving the birds out of my field and you are calling them to eat.” So the man said, “I have been told by Baidya.” The farmer said, “Nobody has said but now you will not speak Khachadi.” The man asked, “Then what should I say.” So the farmer said, “Now you say, fly away, fly away.” Hearing this, the whole bird will run away. ” The man said, “Okay.”

Now the man flew away, started saying fly. He went a little further that a hunter was trapping the birds on the way. The hunter got very angry when he heard that the person was flying, said to be flying and that the hunter slapped the person very hard. And started scolding him, “What are you saying?” I am trapping the birds here so hard and you are saying that the fly has sprouted. ” The man said, “What should I do?” I am told by Baidya. ” So the hunter said, “Nobody has said but now you don’t say that.” Then the person said, “Then what shall I say now?” So the hunter said, “Now you say go on coming and get trapped in the cage.” Then the person started saying, “Come on and get trapped in the cage.”

And on hearing this slang word, the person remembered everything and started saying, “This is the word that Baidya said to me. Yes, Khichdi is what that Baidya told me.

Then that person started thinking in mind, “I have forgotten only one word, I am so smitten that people who have forgotten to live life, people who have forgotten to be happy, people who have forgotten to laugh, who People have forgotten all the important things in life, not to confuse them so much, how much trouble would have been lost.
